I liked this printer, but just stopped working after less than a year. luckily I had the extended warranty. The front panel even if ir looks pretty I think causes only trouble. Too flimsy

I had trouble with the printing. Every time I would print there would always be a white line in the middle of the photos graphs. We bought it and replaced 2x both printers with the same problem

Worked well with my computer for 2 weeks. Now it doesn’t work with my computer. My husband worked on connecting it for hours to no avail.

    Excellent Photo Printer

I bought this to replace my Epson Artisan 710 which was 7 (!!) years old. I have a mac, and even though the artisan could still print well it was crotchety and behind the times. The XP-960 is very similar but works far better with all of our computers and devices over wifi. I struggled for quite a while to get accurate colors (something you NEVER read about in reviews) on my canon printers, before I finally settled on the Artisan, and the xp-960 is no different. And, you do NOT have to buy epson paper to get beautiful color prints - I use Kirkland paper and you might think my prints came from a photo lab; if you like to make prints at home this is the printer for you. I've used the large format (11x14) option to make prints of my photos for hanging in my home and it's wonderful. Prints own plain paper are also on par, and even though I see lots of complaints about ink usage, this printer seems to be on par with my old one. Having the separate ink tanks is a great help.

    Can’t get ink

Best printer my family has had since the HP photo smart 7520 those printers lasted forever. Only downside is very shortly after within a couple of weeks for a brand new printer that just came out it was impossible to get ink for it because no one carried it. The only place I could get it from is Amazon and I don’t buy from Amazon and the few times I have everything came damaged. Amazon sucks

As a photographer, I have always outsourced my work to printing labs. There's nothing like holding a print in your hands that you printed! The prints are great and very good quality. My only complaint is if you unplug the printer from the wall, you have to reconnect back to your wifi. Also, the ink runs out rather quickly. Maybe the XL cartridges would be a little better.

Works good enough but watch that ink usage

Works good enough but if you don't print everyday expect to run low on ink with a low page count. Epson, like every other brand out there, pumps ink thou the head everyday, even when off. You will run out of Cyan (blue) first. With a set costing $79.00 you learn where they make there money. To beat this for infrequent printers like me, buy the new ink cartridges. Then with you run out, replace them with the new ones to print your pictures or documents. after you are done replace they out with the old ones. Be sure to put the caps on or they will dry out. Why not buy the ECO-Tank? Same thing will happen. Why not a different brand? Same thing will happen.

Excellent print quality until new Epson ink cartridges were installed. Once new cartridges were installed constant error messages, said that ink was not compatible. Picture quality was awful. Ran head cleaning multiple times and still very bad prints. A lot of color banding and colors are off. Went through additional 2 sets of genuine Epson ink cartridges and still colors are not printing corrctly.. Regretting this purchase, need to find new printer after only 2 months with this one.

My second unit and I'm very unhappy with the quality First unit I bought the ink pad waste message came up after printing 20 pictures. Hooked it up and said 20, 000 pages were printed So much for the new unit was used Best Buy was no help wanted to discount me on a replacement in store and lose my two year warranty I bought Had to get new unit from Epson Well ths one isn't much better Pictures in this are terrible. The blacks are muddy, fleshtones are brown The new ink cartridges say can not recognize them What a waste My 10 year old r260 r380 models look way better than this junk Also when I turn on unit I can't get the LCD to turn on, I have to lift a cartridge to "fool" it to get it to come on If I return it in store I'll lose 60 bucks but for now something's better than nothing I bought this Unit because of the 6 inks for pro quality, I get anything but that Two unit's proved lousy quality. Come on Epson why sell this garbage
