Do no buy - bad printer cartridge problems

Thats a minor problem however compared to the issues you will have trying to change the ink cartridges. Just google epson 640 printer problems, it is now widely known that this machines have a problem recognizing their own cartridges so after multiple attempts of following the directions and other video fixes from others, I am thoroughly frustrated with trying to resolve this issue. This should be an easy pop out, pop in issue but the machine won't recognize the new one and won't let you do anything else afterwards, so you're stuck to get it fixed or get a new machine. This is our second and last one. We thought the first one because it was stored away for months with the cartridges in it and they bled, but now we're not so sure. Get a different brand as the internet says the problem is pervasive due to them trying to block the use of OEM replacements.
