Q: Does this printer come with the first set of printer cartridges?
A: Yes, this product includes an initial set of ink cartridges.
A: No, the printer will not print in black and white if the color cartridges are empty. It gives you an error and you have to replace the empty cartridges.
A: Yes, you can print single sided - that is the default setting. Printing double sided is an option. However, you do have to choose single sided after a previous double sided print job, because the settings remember your last selection. The selection is a simple check/uncheck box in the print dialog box.
A: Yes it does an excellent job plus two sided printing if needed, also the cartridges last longer and emty compared to HP printers that are an issue plus more expensive to replace. This printer is great bang for you buck. You'll love it!!!
Q: Can I print directly from my iPad and iPhone?
A: Yes. as long as you've installed the free Epson print app.
Q: I assume that if you don't want to use wifi you can hook it up and use it through a usb cable. Yes?
A: Yes, you can use a usb cable instead of using the wifi.
A: Yes, There is a separate tray(cassette) for 4x6 photo paper. It prints very nice!
Q: Can I print pictures from my android phone?
A: Yes you can. I print wirelessly from my android and my wife does from her iPhone.
