Not User Friendly Printer
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After tolerating it for 8 months of trying to print photos or making copies, I ‘ve have replaced this printer with an Epson ET-3710 today. The 2 trays on this printer requires that they are brought out before it continues to print. The tray for making photo prints needs precise alignment or otherwise, the photos could be misiigned.

Already Unable to Use
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer has always caused me problems. The wireless connectivity was not consistent. The ink cartridges are very expensive and seemed to need replaced constantly. This printer was only at home use, thus no extensive use. The most frustrating point is that the ink levels are considered "empty" when the reading is still at 25%, thus the printer won't print when you are notified you are "out of ink." In three days time, it went from incorrect notifications, to constant paper jams, to unable to print at all because it is throwing the cartridges to the left of the printer with a bang. And of course, I did not purchase an extended warranty. Ugh.

The copier works average for the money spent.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are may times that more than 1 paper is pulled through to copy at the same time, causing a lot of blank pages in between. Also, the ink is almost as expensive as the printer was.

Not recommended
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned this printer for 26 days when I got an error message that read "The printer's ink pad has reached the end of it's service life. Please contact Epson support" They offered to send me a new printer. I declined and returned the printer to Best Buy. Best Buy allowed me to return the printer even though the return period had passed. Great customer service. This printer was very slow. I printed from my I-pad and often the printer would click and hum and make noises for 2-3 minutes before it would actually print. I would often leave and do something else and hope it had printed when I returned. Replaced it with a Brother MFC-J485DW yesterday. l So far It has printed without hesitation or delay.

terrible for pictures and expensive ink
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer to print pictures. They always turned out terrible. Then I decided to just use this printer for documents. When I ran out of black ink, it used the picture black ink until I replaced the black ink. Then the picture black ink ran out. I was then forced to purchased that cartridge also. I was told that I would be ok to just use the two black inks and never have a problem after that. Then, two of the color inks needed to be replaced, even though I never used them. I was then told by Epson, that I would have to replace those ink cartridges for this printer to work! Don't buy this printer! Picture quality is awful and very expensive to purchase ink just for grayscale documents!
