I bought this to replace my old Canon i950 printer. I can't believe how much faster I can print pages! The scanner seems spot on too. My only complaint is I can't find a way to set it up so it turns itself on when I try to print. My 2003 printer did that.

Purchased this a couple weeks ago. Needed a printer with wireless printing capability that would work with a chromebooks, tablets, phones and regular laptops. Set up took about 10 to 15 minutes. I like that it prints double sided and that there are individual ink cartridges. Haven't printed photos yet, but regular documents come out great. Only complaint is the feeder tray seems flimsy. So far so good.

I replaced an Epson XP-830 with this one, and although it does not have all the bells and whistles, for the fantastic price I paid, this is sufficient for home use.

The printer is good for me- I don’t have home office needs so this small printer is perfect for what I do. Cartridges are easy to access and print time is fast.

We have four Epson printers currently, This is the latest recently purchased. Needed something with high resolution for projects that a friend and I work on from time to time. I must say, we were both impressed with the print quality it produces.

Does everything as advertised. Maintains network connection (had issues with Canon Pixma in this regard) , good print quality, (relatively) compact footprint

Replaced a previous Epson printer with this wireless version. Use primarily for printing to printable cds and dvds. I am very happy with the printing results.

Bought this unit because of price and features. Did not need a fax option. Fairly easy to set up but disappointed that the paper tray must be closed manually.

Printer is nice and compact for an all in one. Purchased this printer because Consumer Reports rated it as one of the best for using the least ink when printing and when starting a new print job. Had a Canon and it used so much ink before printing to clean the heads. Only thing I don't like about this printer is the pull out tray for the paper to land on when printing. Otherwise a great printer.

Printer works for occasional home office. Very easy to set up and connect with devices I frequently use. Easy for a non-tech person to connect and get going.

I haven't had the use of it for long, but it appears to be working fine so far. It is small and convenient. My only complaint is the access to the paper replacement tray. You also have to open the whole printer up to print anything. Seems stupid that you have to raise the front panel and pull out the drawer in order for the copy to come out. Easier access to refill the paper would be nice too.

Easy set up, the Wi-Fi networking was a test but eventually it has worked seamlessly. For home and family use this scanner, printer is an good choice.

The Epson printer works as advertised. To make it a excellent printer the amount of paper being held in the tray to be printed, should be increased.

I did stuggle a little with printing with my phone. As i dont have internet service. But it works great. And i love that it has separate ink colors.

This is my first Epson printer and I am very happy with it. The setup was very easy and connecting wirelessly was a breeze. I like the printing and scanning features as well. The ink quality is superb! Printing front and back automatically is one of the best features of this printer.I have had no problems with this printer at all. The only glitch I had was finding out to get the paper to come out the first time. I couldn't find the right pull out tray! Once I did, everything was fine.This is an excellent personal home printer!

Its a printer...so it prints paper. I have not used photo paper yet but I hear the quality is pretty good. The best thing about it is the speed it prints and it's WI-FI capable. Very convenient to print from a mobile device.

The Epson XP 640 was just what we needed. The print quality is excellent. Every time I print, my computer screen says that there is an error and it can't print - low and behold it prints anyway. Small annoyance. Works great.

The Epson XP-640 has several things going for it, including its price and its versatility - it is able to print two-sided copies, CD/DVD disks, and photos on papers of different sizes and qualities. Print quality is very good to excellent. And, like almost all Epson inkjet printers, ink tanks contain only one color, so that, if one color goes out, you're not stuck buying a multi-color cartridge when it has other colors of ink still in it. In addition, for photos, this Epson printer has a fifth ink tank, for Photo Black ink.

I would have given this printer 5 stars, but I haven't had it long enough to see how much ink it goes through. However, I would definitely recommend it for home use! Text print quality is clear and crisp and speedy! The printer is easy to set up and the picture print quality is excellent.

I’ve always thought Epson printers were one of the best on the market. A few years ago I got tired of the HP printers and especially the high cost of their ink. This is my second Epson the first being a 2550 used at my office and this one was purchased for home. The printer was very easy to install and set up. The key is to read the instructions and follow the steps and the hookup will be a brezze. The print quality is excellent and scanning was a simple process. A Five Star printer for sure and a great value
