Try as I might, I can’t find anything bad to say about this printer. Setup is amazing. Connection is amazing. Quality of print is amazing. Love it. We kicked HP printers to the curb!

I purchased this printer to replace my Epson Artisan 710 printer that died after 10 years of use. This printer seems to be an update to the Artisan 710 printer. I have only had this printer for about a month and so far it has performed as advertised. There are some things that can be improved. There is no permanent setting to automatically retract the output tray and close the control panel upon turning the printer off. You have to initiate this via the control panel each time. The print quality and speed of this printer are satisfactory.

Excellent all-in-one printer. Prints in beautiful, vivid color and black and white. Easy to set up except for directions being in French. Best Buy agent helped me translate steps. Great printer, especially for the price.

We had the exact same printer for 3 1/2 years. It finally got to the point that no amount of print head cleaning or alignment would result in clear prints. I believe the print heads themselves were worn out and were not replaceable. The printer had been good and I had quite a few ink cartridges on hand so I just bought the same model again. For the price, it's a good printer. I don't like throwing away an entire printer because of non-replaceable print heads. Epson, consider making the print heads replaceable.

I just got this printer and so far, so good. There are a lot of positives and some drawbacks. Connecting to your home network is really easy. It searches for WiFi networks in range and then you tap on your network, enter the password and you're good to go. Once you're connected to the internet, you can update to the latest firmware. The screen is resistive touch which is kind of disappointing on a $200 product. I like that it's color but resistive touch is SO early/mid 2000s. It's kind of appalling they didn't use a capacitive touch screen. I liked that there are tons of different ways to print from this device. Apple AirPrint, SD Card, USB, wirelessly, it's all there. I checked the dimensions before buying but upon unboxing and setting it on a table, it is quite significant and VERY heavy. This thing is meant to be set down and left alone and not moved around from place to place. I wish it was a bit lighter and more portable since space is a premium in my small home and I can't afford to have it take up precious counter space when I only print about once every week or two. The glossy black finish is also a magnet for fingerprints. Wish they used some oleophobic coating or a matte finish. Probably the best part about this printer is that replacement ink cartridges are pretty reasonable compared to other brands and models. Over the life of a printer you will pay more for ink than the printer itself so reasonably priced ink cartridges provide a little bit of relief on your wallet. I haven't printed photos yet but I plan to use it for printing photos in the future. This model is known for printing photos so I hope it lives up to its billing.

I had an HP for several years and it went down hill after my printer failed. Bought an Epson and was impressed.

This is my second printer of this type. Have had it for almost a year and no problems. I use the unit primarily for printing the pictures off my phone. Ease of use and great quality prints.

Fits perfect on my desk. Doesn't take up much space. Came with ink cartridges included. Operates wireless too. Good investment.

Very easy to setup and use the Epson printer. I was very happy about the compactness and speed of the printer - much better than my HP all in one. Also - cheaper ink cartridges was a key factor in our decision to change.

This same XP-7100 model, which I purchased in 2021, suddenly, would no longer recognize my computer. Documents would get backed up in printer queue, then suddenly spurt out a dozen pages of absolute nonsense. Sure wasted a LOT of my paper supply. Then it stopped printing altogether. I spent HOURS on the phone with Epson support. To their credit, they tried EVERYTHING but could not get to the bottom of it. Finally I replaced it with ANOTHER XP-7100. It's only been up and running about two weeks and it's doing the EXACT SAME THING as the one I replaced! Clearly, there's a problem with their software, updates, or SOMETHING. I use a simple USB connection to my computer, not Wi-Fi, so there's simply no excuse for this. That's IT with Epson. Never used them before this model and I won't be back. I will say that when it WAS working I was very happy with the quality. But, I'm returning this to them while it's still under warranty and going back to HP. I am NOT a happy customer.

I purchased this printer as a replacement to a much older printer. It is faster, quieter, and print quality is really good.

So far this printer is great. Its compact and easy to use.

After returning a new model of a different brand, this was a breath of fresh air! The set up was easy, it's user friendly and I was able to print from my phone without any problems. Yah!!!

Works great and the software makes doing functions such as scanning easy. I love that it has two trays, one for letter size paper and a second one just for photo paper so there is no taking time out to change paper when you want a quick print, I can print from my phone as well as laptop and iPad. The photos are sharp and clear. What's not to love? It also prints documents two sided.
