Easy to install, operate and use for home use. Good quality photo prints. Quiet. Paper tray could be a little sturdier.

Very nice printer! Great for all the things I need it for. Printing photos have been been coming out great for me! Great all around printer for the everday consumer!

Don't know why I was surprised to find a flimsy paper tray (the last three HPs had them too), but so far, that is my biggest complaint about the Epson. I LOVE how the receiving tray comes out automatically when I decide to print -- no more chasing print jobs across the room!
Print quality is good (haven't tried the photo setting yet) and ink consumption feels better than the old HP, with the start-up cartridges lasting longer than I'd expected and the replacements just cruising along.
The Epson will print on shorter paper without jumping through hoops, saving trees and landfills when I just have to print a couple of inches at the top of the page.
Yes, it's a bit slower than my last machine, but I use that time to breath deeply and chill a bit.
The USB and memory card ports are so useful; don't know why competitors have decided to eliminate them.

Bought this on sale with high hopes and have been more than happy with it. The trays are a little confusing - I had to google how to print an envelope because the default setting is for a CD but other than that it works perfect.
Previously owned HP. While it was a little more user friendly the ink cartridges wouldn’t work consistently. The test page would print but all other print jobs were trash. So far this printer prints great.
Con- not as user friendly as other brands
Pros- prints great and isn’t constantly trying to force me into a subscription for ink

Print quality is good but the paper tray is difficult to open while the completion tray extended. Not easy to load paper either. There is a guide inside the tray that hangs up inserting more paper.
Not sure if the initial ink cartridges are full size but if so, they did not last very long. It is compact. I have not tried the photo printing yet.

Good printer. Comes with starter ink cartridges. Easy to install. The paper tray seems harder to pull out than my old printer. It does all i needed, and was reasonably priced.

The xp 7100 printer was a replacement for another Epson printer. It was easy to set up and start printing. Thus far, there have been NO issues. I would recommend anyone looking to buy a printer to evaluate the xp 7100

This printer is wonderful! Set up was easy. Ink cartridges were easy to install. Directions were easy to follow. I have not printed any photos on it. The pages I have printed are sharp and clear. No smudging. I love the double sided print option. It is not noisy.
If I needed another printer for a family member, I would buy the same one again.
I have a love/hate relationship with printers. I LOVE this one! I highly recommend it!

This one does very sharp prints full of life, but I'm sorry to say that it isn't very durable. I bought one in 2021 that lasted 2 years, unfortunately without GeekSquad protection. Bought a new one this time with 4 years GS protection (after all most inkjet will fail fairly quickly). About to go to Best Buy for service since the print quality is really bad. But, if you want a really good inkjet printer and are aware it won't last 10 years, then go for it. You won't be disappointed. What I'm describring goes for MOST inkjet printers. There's so many moving parts it's hard for it to not break.

Best printer I ever had! Prints clear, sharp and fast with accurate colors. It also has an SD card slot for easy printing of photos. Prints from my phone or tablet are fast and easy. Photos printed beautifully. Attached is a pic of a photo using this printer. Calibration was easy. I highly recommend this printer.

Very easy to use and set up. Wireless printing is awesone! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the paper tray is not that easy to access and open. So, I really wish it was easier to load, and at least hold 100 pages of paper.

Prints pictures beautifully ON PHOTO PAPER. I tried to print a pic of our dog on regular paper and it looked like poo. There might be a setting to fix that. I’ll be honest I didn’t try or go looking. Prints regular documents black/white and color pretty quickly. The one thing that bothers me is the touch screen. It flips out when you print. Then there’s a button to push on the screen to retract the paper tray. BUT the screen doesn’t flip back down! It just stays sticking out. I have to force it down. It feels like I’m gonna break it but idk how else to get it to lay flat again. That’s such a small detail but it bothers me just slightly. Printer is still worth the money tho. No regrets here!

This printer offers a big bang for the buck and a convenient small footprint that will most likely fit in your workspace. Printing is fast and text and images are of excellent quality. The scanner function works well. The touch screen is easy to see and use. It only holds 30 sheets of paper, but I haven't found this to be particularly bothersome. Ink is fairly expensive but, so far, the original ink is lasting well after printing about 100 pages.

Works great, but when purchasing buy ink at the same time . Got a couple test prints done and all ink cartridges were emtpy. Had to go back and buy ink.

Had a Canon Pixma printer before this and thought it was pretty good. But, this one is so much better (though some parts seem not quite as sturdy. This one is smaller and lighter and packed with features. The setup was pretty easy, though you've got to be careful to remove all the blue tape that is all over the place holding things (I missed a piece at first). It's quieter than the Canon was and prints faster. The quality of the print is very good, as are photos. I love the top loading tray for scanning pages. It has worked flawlessly and is so quick and convenient.
My old printer did not have that. This is also a duplex printer, so it will scan and print 2 sided. Didn't have that before either. Another nice feature my Canon did not have is that when you print a multipage document the printer will print in reverse order so the pages stack from the last to the first and you don't have to physically reverse the pages. Loading paper is not quite as quick and easy as the Canon was, but it's not difficult either. It has a main tray and a second for photo paper, so you're ready to print either instantly. It also has a third tray in the back, though I don't really see a use for that, unless you had a single page of colored paper or pre-printed paper you wanted to print on without pulling out and loading it into the main tray. Then it could perhaps be useful. While the main tray does not hold a tremendous amount of paper, it is sufficient I think for most people, unless you print a lot of large documents. The display is easy to read and use and allows quick access to most functions. I also like the fact that with the touch of a button you can retract the output tray so it is not sticking out in the way. As soon as a print job is sent to the printer the tray will automatically extend. The main reason I took off one star is the price of the ink. That seems to be more than the Canon ink, which I was often able to get specials on. Leary of using other than official ink products. Despite the price of ink, I would definitely recommend this printer.
