printing quality good but problems with scanner

Literal garbage. Two units dont work

They dont recognize any ink cartridges including the ones that came in the box. Ive updated firmware along with every other suggestion support gives...still junk

Loves to eat up ink

Could not believe how soon had to change the ink as have not at all printed out anything much to be needing to replace the ink so soon, if would have been doing a lot of printing as well making pictures then I could see it needing to be replaced but not for what I had printed out. If knew it loved ink like the way it loves the ink, I would not ever brought this printer. Also, it was working fine no problems up till had to replace the computer now it will not communicate right with the computer, after fighting it & that have been able to get what I need printed out, wish this would have happened sooner than it did as this printer would be going back. It is bad enough for the money they charge with limiting the fax but could have made it not to eat ink so darn fast.

OK printer - poor printing for linux

Very Disappointed

This printer is "flimsy". My impression is that it is cheaply made. The power cord connection to the back of the printer is very loose and falls out easily. Every time I want to print, I have to unplug the printer before it will begin a print job. I've tried to get support from Epson to no avail.

Trouble getting it on line

Not a good choice for low volume usage

If you do not print for a few days, the printer takes a LONG time to prepare (I'm assuming it's checking the nozzles and ink). If you do not print for over a week, the nozzles clog and require cleaning.

Don’t bother

After some use ages and change of ink cartridges it just starts giving errors or won’t print in color. I purchased too many cartridges or I’d rid myself of this Epson product. I’ll return this under-par product again.

Always in error mode

Has VERY tiny ink cartridges which are VERY expensive. Constantly in error mode. When color ink low, it asks if you want to print in black & white instead. When you say Yes, it still forces you to replace color ink cartridge. Also only holds a small amount of paper so you're constantly refilling it.

After a week of no answers, I returned it to Best Buy and purchased an HP that was a dream to set-up.

Initial use has been good so far

I haven’t used it enough to comment on things like photo printing quality, etc. I have only done basic document printing at this point. I am using it with Apple devices at the moment. I will be printing from windows soon.

Buy this printer if you want network issues!

You have to reconfigure the network connections in order for it to function as expected. Also, your computer cannot find it when it searches for printers, you have to turn the printer on and off a few times until it eventually finds it. I've owned this product for about 8 months now.

Will get the job done

The top feed cover is cheap in quality in my opinion. My only real complaint is whenever I go to print I have to choose the feeder or it automatically defaults to the CD tray.
