After having a little trouble setting it up, I have been more than pleased with this printer. So far, everything I printed on it (emails, copies, pdfs, remote printing, etc…) have printed as expected. Have not printed photos with it yet, so I can not rate that, but everything has done well.

I wanted to print a family album but didn't want to waste money on prints. I think this is a good option for long-term photo prints. I also use it to print everyday pages. However, I noticed if you print photos back to back the quality will go down so I recommend letting the printer have breaks over long amounts of photo prints. The saturation of colors is perfect, and the print quality will only be as good as your original photo. The ink is a little pricy but can't complain. I don't know exactly how much I've printed but I know I printed over 30 pages and 10 photos and now I need more ink. Overall I can't complain, I am happy with this printer!

    Excellent all-around printer

This has a relatively compact footprint, smaller than the last all-in-one canon that I had. After about 4 months of CV quarantine use, I feel comfortable writing a review.... This one has pretty much every function, including printing and scanning double-sided, not many relatively inexpensive printers do the latter nowadays, apparently. Photo quality is excellent, and document quality is excellent as well. The cartridges that come with it are standard size, if you get the XL cartridges you'll get two to four times the amount of print volume versus the standard cartridges. Epson cartridges are not cheap, and they don't go on sale often if ever, but they are very high quality. The printing, scanning, and copying, are all done very quickly. The document feeder seems to keep things aligned better than my old Canons did. This is an excellent printer for home use, and for small business use as well. I would say if You are printing more than a hundred pages a day, you'd probably be better served with something that's a little bit more efficient with ink. Most home users will not come anywhere near this kind of print volume, and this is the best all around ( ie non photo specific) home printer I've ever owned. I think the last printer I had was a Canon MX972, which was a relatively high end home inkjet printer. I do think the Canon felt a little sturdier regarding build quality, but in all other aspects this Epson is a much better printer.

The XP-7100 has excellent print quality. I was surprised when it printed the last page first and stacked them in order. I like that. The paper loading trays are a little clumsy but can be managed. The auto open stacking tray is nice, too. Overall, I am very pleased with the XP-7100.

I’ve used Epson printers before at work and now that I’m retired I found I needed one at home. This one didn’t need any special software to connect to my laptop or iPhone. This was the main reason I chose this printer. And the printing has been excellent so far. I’ve had issues with HP printers for connectivity in the past. That’s the main reason I don’t look at HP.

I've had this printer for 3 months now and can safely say that it does everything as advertised. Even the default printer and scanner settings can be changed using the Epson Event Manager which comes with the software included. And if you are still using an XP PC the XP drivers are still available on-line using the proper search criteria. Mine is working great from both my XP and Windows 10 PC's. Definitely a great buy!

Excellent quality shipped super fast...easy to set up initially...was easy to print from phone yet could not get to print from laptop. Jams super easy but also super easy to fix. Confusing and complicated with the apps needed to print and connecting with network or bluetooth.

A multifunction printer at a nice price from a dependable brand. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it is. The seperate inks lets me have control about what and when a refill is needed.

So far this has done what has been expected of it. We use it fir simple home use tasks but it certainly is not a business level item. I do wish the paper tray was larger but that is a big problem for our use. The 2-sided scan feature is nice when scanning to a USB. The automated output tray is a little flimsy so be careful. It has lost the wireless connection a couple times but I'm not sure at this point if it's an issue with the printer or the service provider because of where we live. Overall, a good purchase for the price especially if you pay the extra $35 for the 2-year protection plan; it still comes out under $200.

Great little printer. Nice size, Easy to use with IPhone or MacAir laptop. Isn’t as fast as a larger business type, but it’s sufficient for home use. This Epson replaced an HP printer that was worthless, despite being used only a couple times and still under warranty. My daughter who goes to grad school has an Epson and she recommended the brand.

Nice printer, good price, compact size, would buy it again, the touch pad where the on/off button seems flimsy per se because when you press the button to close it, the panel moves in, it is not rigid per se. Overall good copier and I enjoy using it and would recommend it. I just would like the on/off panel to be rigid when turning it on and off.

First non HP printer and overall like the printer. A little complicated with the different color cartridges and changing them. Also output tray sticks out unless you close it after each print job. Not major items.
