When i checked the printer settings, it was connected to the wifi. This was a constant issue to the point where i had to keep reseting the printer. I fixed this issue by only using a cord.

It's a waste of money because every time I want to use this piece or trash it, it never works. 1. Wifi Printing sucks, I can't even air print from my phone 2. The setup is horrible, and directions are unclear 3. NO Phone APP, multiple apps available, none are user-friendly or work. It uses an old user interface for software and applications; think Windows XP type of interface. Save your time, money, and sanity. Switching back to an HP printer

The software is a bummer, the directions sparse, the tech support virtually non-existent. Using this thing involves multiple stages that are meaningless and time-consuming. If I had to do it over again, I would purchase a different brand.
