I've had a series of Epson printers and like them. This one is good too. Easy to operate and get connected. I don't print many photos, but there's an extra ink cartridge called photo black that should make that kind of printing a bit better. I also like that you just buy ink cartridges as you need them and don't have to try to figure out much ink you might need and then get stuck paying for ink you don't need cuz you didn't print much that month.

    Epson 7100 honest review

I recently tested the Epson 7100 Wireless Printer, and I’m giving it a solid 4 stars. It prints both text and photos with crisp quality, and the wireless setup was simple enough to get up and running quickly. The design is compact and sturdy, making it a good fit for small offices or home use. However, it does feel a bit heavy when you need to move it. The paper tray capacity is decent for occasional use, but if you’re printing large volumes, it might feel a little limited. One of the standout features is its excellent photo printing quality, which is impressive for its price. On the flip side, the ink cartridges can be a bit pricey, and you might find yourself replacing them more often than you’d like. Overall, for its price, the Epson 7100 is very much worth it if you’re after quality prints without breaking the bank. It’s a reliable workhorse that delivers great performance for day-to-day tasks.

Great Home Office Printer for Small spaces

This thing is compact and FULL of features! Color Printing, Scanning, Faxing and photo printing just in a nice compact form factor. This printer is a definite winner for smaller spaces where you need an all in one but don’t want to take up a whole desk. Set up is a breeze. Took a whole 5 minutes. The hardest part as usual is tearing all the blue tape from it. They locked the printer down in every possible way with the tape to prevent any movement during shipping. This particular test unit came with single cartridges for each of the colors including a Photo Black one for color Photo printing. Powering up the system for the first time took around 7 minutes. The handy touchscreen kept me informed each step of the way. With Printer head alignment and color corrections, it took about 15 minutes total to set the entire thing up. I love setting up devices and then getting firmware updates. That’s the beauty of the connected devices. It just gets better over time and the mighty Epson delivered on the firmware update. Like the prior Epson printers I have reviewed, this one has a nice clear bright touchscreen on the front for set up. I chose to set up the system using Wi-Fi but there was a connection for a hardwire if that was something you wanted to use. This printer is pretty inexpensive and for that trade-off, it’s not the fastest printer out there or the most quiet. In fact, it’s kind of loud. ;) I might be spoiled by my Epson ET-7750 though. Setting up home printers these days is dead simple. Hooked up to WiFi and printing pictures directly from my iPhone in literal minutes. But for it’s size and price, this is a great printer for normal business documents and I’ve been using it throughout the day without issues. For a home office with moderate printing requirements, this is more than enough printer. This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-7100 Wireless Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Nice size, excellent copies, easy to use. We needed to replace a Canon printer we had had for quite a few years and this was a very similar model. Already having a less expensive Epson ( which doesn’t have duplex interest ability), we purchased this model and are very pleased with its capabilities. The setup process was rather frustratingly difficult, but once it was done, it works very well and is even more quiet than the Canon!!

Finally found a printer that is quite functional and easy to operate. Perfect size to save space, also. Printing on color paper produces a professional quality for a very reasonable price. Thanks Epson.

Bought this on sale with high hopes and have been more than happy with it. The trays are a little confusing - I had to google how to print an envelope because the default setting is for a CD but other than that it works perfect. Previously owned HP. While it was a little more user friendly the ink cartridges wouldn’t work consistently. The test page would print but all other print jobs were trash. So far this printer prints great. Con- not as user friendly as other brands Pros- prints great and isn’t constantly trying to force me into a subscription for ink

We bought this printer to replace an HP from 2007, so it definitely feels like an upgrade! It's fast and quiet. Some of features/set-up are less than intuitive, and the design is somewhat silly. There are lots of moving parts - literally, the front middle of the printer moves when the power is turned on/off - and I wonder about durability. Also, filling the paper tray requires pulling a tray out manually from inside the printer. The scanning function needs better software - if you want to preview then scan, you have to re-feed the document (!). It's a decent printer if all you're doing is printing, and don't mind fiddling with paper trays.

LThis wireless printer was easy to set up and works fine. I can even print from my cell phone. It prints in color and black-and-white. It does not hold a lot of paper at one time, so make sure you’re not printing large jobs.

So far I’ve had this unit for about a month and have done a fair amount of printing on it. I always have something to hand to my clients so I needed a printer that would be up to the task of being in constant use. During the first week, I had two instances of paper getting jammed in the printer. I know I still had three weeks to return it so I pushed on. Fortunately, it hasn’t happened since. The prints are clear and the printer is quick to do its job. I was surprised by the small footprint on my desk. It’s the perfect size. The printer this one is replacing was a behemoth (and now that I can see the functionality of this one, overkill). The set up was super quick. I was done in about 15-20 min. It has everything that I can imagine anyone needing for a small home office.

I am very impressed with this printer! Great for home use. Easy to set up and install. The connection to my wireless network was a breeze. The printer has a step by step guide on the control panel for loading your papers or installing your inks. Great quality printing in both black and white and color. It is fast and the inks dry very quickly. Excellent photo printing. The only thing I would change amount of paper I can load at a time in the lower carrier however I have not used the top paper carrier as yet. The scanner is excellent and the app easy to use. This printer also has an excellent copier. All in all, this is great buy for the quality of the printer.

I am very pleased with the design and function of this printer. Install was easy. All apparatus worked fist time used. Makes very good color copies. The auto duplex is seamless. Immediately realized how much more quiet the printer is compared to other products. I haven't usedd all the features yet, we're not a power user family. The footprint is perfect. Plug in and use and unplug as needed. Not connected to the internet/wifi and that's the way we want it. The capability is there, however. No need for a huge paper tray for us so 100 is more than enough. Ink is reasonably priced.

Lives up to all the claims and it is easy to use. Set up was easy and it prints fast. Very compact size with a smaller footprint than its predecessor, an Epson 1280 that finally quit printing well after about 15 years.

Purchased this printer because it had good reviews for printing family phots. The reviews were accurate. Does a great job. This printer was the easiest ever to install. It searched for connections, and found my wifi. It has a low profile and easily fits on a small desk. If you are not planning to change to a large ink supply printer, this one is inexpensive to purchase, prints clearly, and does a great job with photos. The only con is the price of the ink cartridges.
