Fast printer, fairly quiet. Makes very good photo prints. No issues with set up and wifi signal is stable if the unit is powered down after use. Not sure of the issue when it is kept on. Wifi printing from phone (iphone) works fine. Have not been able to wifi print from laptop but able to connect with cord so no real issues. Scanning function works fast and quiet, much better than my last printer. Pricey Ink but we will see how long the basic cartridges last with minimal printing.

Although described as a Wireless printer, it won't work with 5G internet so I have to connect to my MacBook Pro with a cable. Not a big issue, but it would have been nice for it to say so on the the outside of the box... Otherwise, a great printer.

I got this printer as a replacement for my Epson XP-830 that died. The only main difference between the two is w/ XP-7100 I can’t fax but I have no need to.
It is maybe an inch taller than the XP-830 and seems about an inch less in length. It fits a small round table I use to sit the printer on.
XP-7100 was easy to set up using the quick guide.
I really like the auto front/back print and bigger icon features.
Print and pictures are clear/crisp for its size and price point.
I use the printer often and I am still on the ink cartridges that came with the printer!
Overall, I am very pleased with the XP-7100 and it was a great purchase for me.

So far this printer has been great. The installation was easy and I had no problems connecting it to the home network. I like the fact that it has a document feed and has the ability to scan double-sided paperwork. It’s a nice little printer for a home and family.

This by far is the best printer for your home office, or for a students dorm. Its small, compact inwhich it doesn't take up a lot of space. Replacing the inks is very easy as well as printing labels.

Works well, awkward to open paper tray

Print quality is good but the paper tray is difficult to open while the completion tray extended. Not easy to load paper either. There is a guide inside the tray that hangs up inserting more paper.
Not sure if the initial ink cartridges are full size but if so, they did not last very long. It is compact. I have not tried the photo printing yet.

It does the job but some features are "clunky".

Purchased this to replace an old HP Inkjet. I purchased this one because the paper feeder on top can be folded down to make a flat surface unlike all modern HP models.
Setting up and installation were not difficult, especially since I actually read the directions. Not as intuitive as I might hope, but not bad. Installing the drivers on my second computer was really easy and the network connection was recognized right away.
Printing is of good quality and reasonably speedy once the printer finishes its "wake up" cycle. That cycle is moderately long, so printing a quick one page item after it has gone into power saving mode can take a while. The shutdown delay can be set, but I haven't done so yet.
Single sheet printing (as for envelopes or checks) is "clunky". You have to actually start the print job before you put the paper in the single sheet feeder. I found it easier to put the single sheets into the paper tray.
The paper tray: You absolutely must have room in front of the printer with no obstructions in order to fill the paper tray. Not that much of a problem, but still "clunky."
My review does not give it 5 stars due to the clunky operations, but overall I would definitely recommend this product to friends.

Best printer I ever had! Prints clear, sharp and fast with accurate colors. It also has an SD card slot for easy printing of photos. Prints from my phone or tablet are fast and easy. Photos printed beautifully. Attached is a pic of a photo using this printer. Calibration was easy. I highly recommend this printer.

This printer is wonderful! Set up was easy. Ink cartridges were easy to install. Directions were easy to follow. I have not printed any photos on it. The pages I have printed are sharp and clear. No smudging. I love the double sided print option. It is not noisy.
If I needed another printer for a family member, I would buy the same one again.
I have a love/hate relationship with printers. I LOVE this one! I highly recommend it!

A multifunction printer at a nice price from a dependable brand. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it is. The seperate inks lets me have control about what and when a refill is needed.

Don't know why I was surprised to find a flimsy paper tray (the last three HPs had them too), but so far, that is my biggest complaint about the Epson. I LOVE how the receiving tray comes out automatically when I decide to print -- no more chasing print jobs across the room!
Print quality is good (haven't tried the photo setting yet) and ink consumption feels better than the old HP, with the start-up cartridges lasting longer than I'd expected and the replacements just cruising along.
The Epson will print on shorter paper without jumping through hoops, saving trees and landfills when I just have to print a couple of inches at the top of the page.
Yes, it's a bit slower than my last machine, but I use that time to breath deeply and chill a bit.
The USB and memory card ports are so useful; don't know why competitors have decided to eliminate them.
