This printer was difficult to set up. I also discovered it is quite slow. It actually prints pretty fast but after I press the "print" button, it takes longer than expected to print.

Prints when I can get it to stay awake on the network. Works great with mobile devices but horrendous with Desktop devices. Save your time and buy a competitor product.

All of the others in this range use a different cartridge, when the printer fails and you have $200 worth of ink sitting around you won’t be able to use it. Cool.

This printer was very cheap, and you get what you pay for. It’s a bit slow and does not print envelopes well.

Not happy with the photo it's printing. I have had a 620 and it did a lot better job, Am hoping it's just the ink they sent with printer. Time will tell.

The printer itself works very well, but rarely stays connected to wifi. I end up having to connect via USB to print or scan anything...

I brought this printer for the main purpose of printing pictures on photo paper. It bills itself as a premium photo printer so I fell for it and bought it. It did a good job on normal printing and even photos on regular paper but it was horrible on glossy photo paper even though all the settings were set for glossy photo paper. I gave this printer away and repurchased a hp printer.

Wireless setup had its challenges. Still having issues with new computers connecting wirelessly to this printer. Have to you use a printer cable

So far performance is acceptable. More difficult to set up that HP's I had. Also can't scan from printer to computer wirelessly.

This thing is in the trash less than two years after purchase. Prints photos and docs OK after manipulating the settings constantly. Sucks down the ink cartridges faster than you can say cyan-magenta-yellow-blue-black. The printer nozzle malfunctioning was the last straw. Gave up on it and have since bought an HP.

I just used the USB and setup was very easy. Learned the hard way to use the rear paper feed when doing pictures with glossy paper. The pictures are very good quality, however, I went through ink cartridges very quickly. My old Epson(R320) was able to print more pictures before needing to replace cartridges. I haven't tried using the XL cartridges yet. If you buy this printer and want to print pictures, be prepared to spend the money and have a lot of cartridges handy.

The printer works well- but blows through black ink and you cannot print without all the cartridges having adequate ink remaining

Printed nice, but returned it. I was tired of fighting with it.

Epson - Expression Premium XP-830 1. ink is very expensive 2. WiFi receiver is not sensitive, requiring me to add a WiFi adapter

After accepting an update of "firmware" from Epson, my XP-830 printer no longer prints photos that are recognizable; nor are they dry. The only reason it is not a poor rating is because the black and white part still works. I might add that the advice given me by the Geek Squad did not solve the problem, and the Epson website was beyond my ability to fathom its directions--if that is what they were supposed to be.

worked at first, when I tried to sync it with my lap top, the router name when out, now can't get it to work wireless at all!!!

It's ok for the price. Broke within the first 2 weeks After long time with customer support a new one was sent out.

Hopefully it’s a great printerI don’t know how I would know, I haven’t even taken it out of the box yet.

This has been the most difficult printer to set up that I have ever owned. I’m considering returning!

At first, this printer was exactly what I wanted/needed. I wanted a printer that works well with all of my devices and has the ability to print photos if needed. I purchased this December of 2018 and just now I am finding out that the printer will not print any pages if any of the ink cartridges are out. I was trying to print out a delivery sheet for work. I was out on all my ink but instead of paying the $50+ for all the ink cartridges I bought just the regular black ink so I can print on regular paper for school/work. After trying over and over again, the printer refuses to print even when I selected black ink only (not photo black). Probably the worst feature that a printer could have.
