My older laser printer was costing me more money and the cartridges were needing replacement more frequently. I also replaced an outdated scanner that was now wanted a yearly subscription to work with my current computer. So far, the Epson 4750 has replaced both with efficiency.

Easy setup

It just sits there and thinks about it. Changing from 8.5X11 to envelopes requires you to empty the paper tray and move the guides and insert the envelope, and then when you have printed the envelope, put the paper back in. Also doing scans is more complicated than my previous printer. The control functions are not intuitive.

Also had to call customer service to have them help me with the scanner only copying one page at a time. The paper feed scans all the pages but when you open the PDF file it only shows one page.
