A: No, this unit does not offer duplex scanning.
A: Yes it does have an auto do feeder. Up to 30 pages however gets jambed 80% of the time
A: I can print with only black ink or color on my ET-4750
A: The benefit of buying Geek Squad Protection is that you can bring the printer to the store and you are provided with a store credit for what you paid for the product so that you may buy something else. While some manufacturers have arrangments with Best Buy that allows them to repair, or replace products under the manufacturer's warranty, some including Epson, do not. This means that in order to take advantage of the warranty provided by Epson, you would have to go directly to Epson to get a replacement. You also would not have the flexibility of choosing what you receive as a replacement. Lastly, I would point out that there are things that are covered under Geek Squad Protection that aren't covered by the manufacturers. Power surge protection is covered by nearly all plans and many of them cover accidental damage.
A: The Epson website has a download for Mac that provides an easy setup.
Q: Could I print on transfer paper for t-shirts?
A: YES, I printed on Tee shirt transfer paper, tracing paper, card stock & butcher paper..
A: The reservoirs should not dry out. The tanks are enclosed and the entrance ports are designed to only open when the ink bottles are connected to fill. If you are not using the printer for high volume, then you may not want to fill the tanks up to full and occasionally top up every few months.
Q: can you increase or deduct the size of document by a percentage ?.
A: Yes, you can! The printer has a series of preset percentages for common paper sizes or you can select a custom percentage. When you select the copy option it's under the advanced settings tab.
