I figured I would go ECO and upgrade from the 3540 which worked great. The 4750 was easy to install and run. I am looking forward to not having to re-ink the printer all the time. Then my lovely asks me tonight how to copy a double sided document to another double sided document. Just push the menus. There are no menus. What? Come to find it can't scan double sided documents either. What?? I searched and there was only one mention about this limitation in the reviews. What??? Not being able to double sided copy is sort of Non-ECO, don't you think? Double sided printing works fine. Maybe it is late and I missed something. This is a deal breaker for us. As an elite member I have 30 days days to return the printer, meaning 3 days left. I never thought to check to see if these basic functions worked in the printer. For a pricey printer, I am a bit confused as to why these functions were not included. I won't be able to purchase the more pricey epson printers and really hate to switch brands.

When I opened the box and handled this printer I soon realized that this item was very flimsy. As much as I tried I could not get the document feeder to work. Epson customer service was totally useless. Agent was impossible to understand. Is their any customer service that is based in the US anymore?

I hoped the ET-4750 would solve the ink problem plus it was highly rated. I spent countless hours trying to set it up. I called Epson, but they could not help. I had the IP service person come out. They said my system was working fine, but they thought the printer was dead. I consulted a Wall Street computer expert. No luck. I called Best Buy Service. They charged me $108 to get the printer going after 2 hrs. on the phone. I don' think I should have to pay Best Buy $108 to set up a printer which I just bought from Best Buy. Now the printer works fine off the main computer but stopped working off the laptop and mobile devices. As far as I can tell this ET-4750 is JUNK! Bill S., once a Best Buy customer.
