Solid Printer, very expensive ink

Still though I wonder if I should have went with my first instincts and grabbed a mono chrome laser printer instead. The printer prints very fast for an inkjet. It also prints really vivid text and images. The ink however is so expensive that the very first refill will be more than the cost of the printer. As inkjets go, this one supposedly wastes less ink than others but ink jets also need to waste ink just to keep the ink fresh. Unless you absolutely need color, do yourself a favor and get a laser jet. Research the ink replacements for those and you can usually save a ton of money. If you do need color, and cannot afford a color laser jet then I would go for this printer.

The new 4730 has improved upon my last model with better wireless printing and scanning. Overall very happy with the product. I recommend it for anyone who wants a multi-function printer for home use.

Teacher in the family who does a lot of printing at home so it's good that it comes with 2 trays that can hold a half of a team of paper. Have had for about a month and works good. Fast and color quality is great!
