    Great Printer for Home Office and Personal Use

    Purchased this printer to replace a Brother printer we had been using for over 8 years. Was leary of switching from our Brother to this new Epson, but ink for our old Brother was near impossible to find anymore. Setup this new Epson printer in less than 10 minutes and had both laptops and desktop PC’s all printing wirelessly with no issues at all. Even had our smartphones printing flawlessly to this machine. Print quality and speed are very good for a mid-range priced inkjet printer (versus a laser printer… better printing but at a much higher upfront and toner cartridge cost). Automatic document feeder has worked well for both scanning and copying. Love having two paper trays, allowing you to keep 2 different sized papers (you can select which tray to use each time you print) or load it all with one size and be set for a long time. Overall I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a home office printer that checks nearly all the boxes and does so at a reasonable cost, including the ink cartridge prices. Been using for several months with NO issues of any type to mention. Great value, recommend purchasing this Epson printer.

    Truly all in one

    I received my Epson workforce 4830 wireless all in one printer a couple of weeks ago. I am very impressed it is truly all in one. It makes double sided copies it’s very fast and has amazing print quality! It was easy to set up and connect easily to your Wi-Fi. Has lots of features including print copy scan and faxing I would highly recommend this printer for home use as well as business use.

    This is a great printer. It is easy to setup and it just works. HP has just gotten so bad we needed an alternative. We have purchased 4 of these for SOHO clients. 2 of these had no hinge pins so I recommend you open this box in the store and check the scanner cover rear hinges. We had to return 2 of these due to poor workmanship and Quality.

    Great printer. Set up was easy and it runs smooth. My only drawback is the ink runs out a little too frequently. I do a lot of printing to prepare for my first grade lesson plans.

    I bought this about a year ago. 4 big problems: 1, 60% of the time it does not connect to my PC/wifi. Takes me forever to turn on/off, reboot, unplug, etc. and it still may not work. 2, the software is terrible. "All-in-one" means different apps for each function: to print, copy, scan photo or scan document - all use different apps. Plus, the software is NOT intuitive at all. Terrible! 3, scanning quality for documents and especially photos is poor. 4, the fax software is difficult to use. So, in summary, its just not worth it.

    terrible - mind of its own & time waste

    Complete piece of junk. This is actually a great machine if you like to waste your time and have maybe three hours every day to fight with the printer... then this is your product! Works when it wants to, it chooses the tray when it wants to, it cancels jobs when it wants to, it does everything it wants to and nothing that you want it to. Doesn't even take the ink some of the time and you have to reinstall it multiple times. A very good paperweight though if you just need to hold down the papers from blowing away. If anyone Has any recommendations on a machine that will print and do the other things this machine is supposed to do with three trays I would love the recommendation... right now I'm trying to figure out which window I'm going to throw this out of in my house

    NO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER, I have a 4833 Terrible at everything, try and print less than the full document. It might print a partial about 2 minutes later or not at all. Loses wireless connection more often than not. To scan a document, ou have to go through about 6 steps and then asks you to select a computer - only option which flat out does not work. Worst scanning software imaginable. I am ready to unplug and throw in the trash. There are already streaks on any scan.

    WARNING DO NOT BUY A WORKFORCE PRO I had one sent to me in June of 2023. Epson advertises a 1 year warranty period. When I called in and spoke with epson support they had me do some troubleshooting and then they deemed the printer to have a hardware failure. I asked about the warranty as their website shows 1 year. I was told that they would not be able to warranty out the workforce pro but they would give me 15% off to buy a new one directly from them.

    Garbage

    Had it one day and it's going right back, Should have known better. I had an Epson before and it was a hunk of junk and so is this. Built like garbage you could break it by sneezing on it. So, where to start? The bloated software that includes 2 different scanning utilities, neither of which works? The document feeder that cannot do 2 sided scanning without jamming EVERY SINGLE TIME and ripping the pages. The inability to scan from the unit to a computer either via "scan to computer" or "scan to WSD" even though all the software is installed? And of course the constantly dropped wifi. Absolute piece of garbage.
