I like the device, but Epson support is horrible There is a problem (that fortunately doesn't prevent me from using the device), and they cannot figure it out. My first call went unreturned; my third call went to someone who could not understand what I was asking. When I finally got to a superf\visor after 30 minutes, she told me I had to turn off my firewall and virus software to use the scan feature from the control panel. The error message is that I need to install certain software, but it is installed and running.

This printer pulls multiple sheets at one time when printing. This includes when using Epson Bright paper made by Epson. Adjustments to paper type are numerous, BUT ADJUSTMENTS TO PAPER TYPE HAVE NOT STOPPED MULTIPLE SHEETS BEING PULLED TO PRINT ONE SHHET, EVEN WITH EPSON BRIGHT PAPER AND ADJUSTMENTS. This printer REQUIRES a new ink cartridge after each Epson update, even with. a newly installed full Black ink cartridge is installed. The Epson updates require a new cartridge be installed in order to resume printing. This is obviously a programming practice that ensures Epson can make more money. We loose as a consumer. There is no adjustment to paper type that stops multiple paper pulls. The density of print is poor! When adjusted to a deeper print density, the background to the paper darkens proportionately, producing poor readability and poor print copy while using more ink.

An excellent, solid Epson printer Workforce Pro WF4830. Hope it last as long as my last Epson printer.
My last Epson lasted eight years and is still working except for one color. I was able to fix 1 of 2 colors and may be getting temperamental. The ink cartridges can be part of the problem; hence, one has an option to get another Epson printer that has refillable ink.

Not bad for the price this is my second 1 my first one had some problems with it but I came boarded to the Geek Squad and got a new 1 and renewed my Insurance plan on it to make sure that I'll always have it
