DO NOT UPDATE THE FIRMWARE!

I especially love the 11x17 printing and Wi-Fi connectivity. But if you plan to use 3rd party cartridges - DO NOT UPDATE THE FIRMWARE! Epson has a nasty habit of disabling them with firmware updates and as a result, is in a class action lawsuit.

QUALITY PRINTER

Although it was big, I made it fit the location I have in my office. I LOVE this new printer. I previously had the WF-3640 and used it for over 5 years. I love the scan quality of this printer and the wireless capabilities. I have not had an opportunity to use all the features but I was blown away with the ones that I have used.

Early Impression of Epson All-in-One

Produces good scans though. Printing is acceptable. I like the large format scan/print features. Overall, considering the price point it seems like a good purchase. I’ve only had the product for a month, so time will tell.

A beast of a printer!
