    It was not very clear when purchasing that they are only giving enough ink for you to initiate the machine. Epson right of the bat after 2 days of having the starter ink in is requiring you to purchase new ink. This is crazy. If you are only going to give start up ink let people know so they don't wonder why the printer is not printing after 2 days. Machine completely locks all printing until new cartridges are installed. 0 out of 5 Stars. Provide a standard 1 time use of ink avg. 30 days or more and not just 2 day time lock and this would have been a different review.

Additionally, you can continue to print temporarily with black ink when a color ink cartridge has been expended.     DO NOT UPDATE FIRMWARE if you plan on buying 3rd party ink. Each firmware update prevents 3rd party ink and you will be forced to purchase EPSON branded ink.

    Have had this printer 7 months - I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers (at Epson tech support's recommendation) multiple times and the issues are resolved for a few weeks, or as of today - it was resolved for 2 days. Weekly maintenance is required - cleaning print head/nozzles, re-alignment, etc. Waste of paper and ink. Epson customer service is awful - long hold times and "techs" that follow cues and have no idea how to deal with an issue. Glad Best Buy is helping me turn around this really poor choice I made!

    Epson WorkForce Pro WF-740 Software Not Good

    There was nothing wrong with the service at Best Buy. What I did have an issue with was the printer itself. Epson has a real problem with their software and continual updates. It doesn't work

    only print 5 times after I purchased and now it doesn't work. It's hard to get in touch with costumer services they won't help at all. I got an error code 100005 and now my printer doesn't work at all.

    First one was a failure, the second…?

    Printer experienced a complete failure two weeks after purchase, would not boot up or initialize.. Epson had us return it directly to them and they replaced it with a refurbished one. Waiting to see if it will hold up.

    I will never buy another Epson printer, this thing has been nothing but trouble. It wont stay connected to our wifi, i have issues printing from my phone. We have excellent gig speed wifi from Comcast and I'm using a Galaxy S23, so i shouldnt be having these problems. I may not be the tech savviest person on here, but i know enough. It doesnt matter if I update the printer or reset it, there are still problems printing. Don't buy this printer.

Other brands of ink cartridges, and ink supplies, are not compatible, and even if described as compatible, may not function properly or at all.     No manual comes with it. On line manual worthless to search for issues/ how to items. Controls and settings NOT intuitive , some can’t even be found. If it wasn’t 6 days past return date I’d give it back, had to wait longer than 5 days to get resupply ink!

    Only got 20 pages before the cyan stopped printing. I tried so many print head cleanings. Spent money on different ink cartridges. Nothing worked. Couldn't contact Epson. No humans were available by phone so I sent an email that was never responded to. I ended up returning it.

    Printing is fine, however we've only had it hooked up a week and two springs have popped off and we're not sure where they go. We had to replace the first one within 30 days of purchase so this is our second one.

    Beware the ink cartridges it comes with only work for the installation setup. You need to buy ink if you want to print. It would have been nice if they informed people of this so you could be prepared. For that reason it gets one star.

    AWFUL. Runs through ink, says there isnt ink when there is a brand new cartridge. Had this for 2.5 years and absolutely hate it still. Ever see apffice Space? That will be me as soon as I get a new print. (Insert every curse word possibly)

    Repeatedly defective and poor

    Made the horrible mistake of trying an Epson again. Printer was defective out of the box. Constant stream of errors and wont sense paper tray full, a out of paper. Had one of these previous that never printed a quality image. The features are what we need but the quality is horrific. Avoid!!!

    Lousy Printer

    Have only done about 50 copies and printer will not let me change the cartridges. The cartridge holder will not shift as it is to line up with the arrows at all when you open and the lid locks. When ordering had major delivery delay as well. No trouble shooting info for this problem cannot find anything online about it as well. Would not recommend this printer. Feel I wasted 300.00. Nice for Best Buy and Epson but not me.

    Fair quality printing for the price. Most other capabilities a standard on most All-in-one printers. I only printed approximately 7, seven, SEVEN, (did I mention 7) color pages and I am already needing to replace 2 color cartridges
