Great printer at a great price. Typically buy Brother but this is just as good.

I wasn’t quite sure I needed a printer of this size for my home, but I had recently been having an assortment of items that I really needed a larger area for printing. I shopped around with little to no luck in the size/price printers I’ve had in the past, so finally but the bullet and purchased this printer. I had done some research and this was highly recommended by shoppers and a variety of other platforms, so I was pretty well informed about what to expect. I have to say, all of the reviews stating how awesome it is were a bit off. It’s far better than I ever could have imagined! I’m finding that not only am I printing the stuff I’d specifically bought it for, but I’m finding all kinds of other things to print on the larger sizes. I’m no longer having to chop things up into a million different pieces to fit the printer, only to have to tape it all back together once it’s printed! Aside from the size capabilities, I love how quickly it prints regardless of if I’ve got it printing one side or two! The quality is exceptional, as well. All-in-all, I’d say this is an amazing printer with all kinds of awesome features wrapped up into a printer that won’t completely break the bank. I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting to take their home office printing up a notch!

This is an awesome printer! I upgraded to it and have nothing but rave reviews. We use it every day, and it never disappoints! Great job, Epson! We also love the update notices! They keep our printer running like a Ferrari! BUY IT!!!

Couldt ask for anything more. Great printer. Wonderful colors. Prints quietly. My only issue is the weight of the printer. Its quite heavy. All in all its a very nice printer.

Fast and reliable printer, big but power printer. Use my printer daily with no issues knock on wood. Love not having to pay HP anymore for monthly print services. This printer was the way to go. Get one you won’t be disappointed.

This is a great printer for anyone who needs the flexibility of printing 8.5x11 or 11x17! It’s physically a bit heavy for the size, so it’s not super mobile if you need to move it often.

I have enjoyed using the Epson - WorkForce Pro WF-7840 Wireless Wide-format All-in-One Printer. I have printed using a variety of paper types including copy paper, flyer paper and card stock. I like the fact that this printer can print large sizes of paper. This is the main reason that I purchased this printer. I scanned a picture to my computer and it looked very clear, just like the original picture. I like the look of the things I print . I printed a funeral program and the look of it was equal to one someone else printed at a local printing company. This printer came with ink and that was a plus. One thing I don't like is that I always have to select the paper size every time I print something. I am still learning about the specs of this computer, however once I learn more about it, things will go a lot smoother.

Love this printer. It is pretty big and takes up a lot of room on my table but I knew that it would before I purchased it. It works well and doesn't seem to use up ink as quickly as my old HP printer. The colors are beautiful although I haven't tried printing photos yet but I suspect they will be equally as vivid. It's also very easy to operate.

Very happy with my recent purchase of this printer! Love the Wide format feature as i do a lot of printing on 11x17 to make booklets that are center stapled to 8.5x11 size. very impressed so far with this printer and have created many projects already and am not disappointed. When setting up i followed the instructions to a T and had no issues.

The machine is simply excellent. Easy setup. Plugged it into my network, and the entire house can see it.

Great printer. I have only used Epson printers for the last 30 years and they are to best in my opinion.

Fancy printer- has many different functions. My favorite is being able to print files or photos right from my phone which is very convenient. Also great for printing my architecture plans that are wide format

I needed a pinter to replace an older model Epson. Since I was happy with the brand, I went online and using the price point of the previous model I found this one. When I got to Best Buy to pick it up I was startled when I saw the size of the box. I said there must be a mistake, but was told this was the one that I paid for. When I got home and plugged it in, I was amazed at all the additional functionality that was available. It does so much more than my previous desktop printer; three paper sources, multiple sizes, fax, scan, and does it all much faster. The wifi setup only took seconds and the new program installed almost as fast.

This printer does all the things we need it to do. Able to use several different size paper and color print. Setting up was super easy. Will be purchasing another one for our office.

I only bought it to use as a large format scanner. It is very good for that one purpose. But the thing weighs a ton and has all that nonsense for inkjet printing that I have zero use for. I have a laser printer for printing. They force you to install the ink cartridges or it won't work at all. That is why I am taking off a point. Also, their scan software is utterly unusable. I had to buy software called VueScan to be able to use it. That cost an additional $99. Not sure why they can't bundle this at a discount. Why can't Epson make an affordable large format scanner without the "all in one" stuff that I don't need?

Great purchase but it is a little slower to scan than I was hoping for. The ink does run out a little faster than I thought so I would suggest getting the ink container that holds more. Other than that, love it!

The printer looks like a good one but has come with some issues. The top gave us trouble at first when we had to open it to put in the ink cartridges. We finally were able to get it to unlock. Then when we had to put in more ink cartridges, it has been giving us fits and does not always want to line up to open for us to put in the replacements. We are also having trouble setting up the fax and may have to call a professional for that. Not as easy as it sounds in the booklet or online. It prints nicely and we have been glad with the copying, printing 11X17 paper and envelopes.

I’m an engineer and mainly use this for printing and QCing 11x17 telco designs. The quality of the print is great as well as the scanning. My only gripe is that it can be a little on the slower side when it comes to printing and scanning. For myself it’s not a big deal because I use it in my home office alone. If you wanted to use this in a main office with several people needing it, I think it would be better to get something faster.

Functionality - this is the ONLY printer that prints B size and does double sided color copy and scan! We searched for another when our first one failed just a couple months short of the two year warranty. So, we stayed with the same model. Seems like there have been some improvements. Unfortunately, doesn't have an ink tank, but then no one else does with the same functionality offered by this model. Came with improved/more friendly software for cataloging the scanned images.
