It prints fast and clean, although I have not tried to print photos yet. Paper loads from the back - it does not have a paper cassette to store the paper which I wish it had. Also, the LCD screen is super tiny and really needs to be bigger. Other than that, it’s been a good printer so far.

It also has a front panel that is easy to read. This checked all the requirements and was on sale.

The upper page loader is unreliable & jams a lot so if you need to scan a consistent amt of docs be aware of issue. The scanner is on the slower side, even w/ dot imaging turned down to 100 dpi. I haven't tried the fax option yet but i'm sure there will be jamming issues since it's a multipage top load to fax.

I would classify it as the middle of the line but it performs as if it were top of the line. The only complaint I have is the cost of ink but this is the same with ALL printers.

I will be looking for a new printer soon. Epson cleverly makes the black ink cartridge more expensive, because people can avoid color printing but you can't avoid printing in black. So, I do not recommend people buy Epson printers, not just this model.
