Too many false alarms. I think it is mostly designed to send you random alerts. So you may say the product works.

Posted .Arrows require the detector to be this size. MAX 3 is a smaller detector without arrows or Wi-Fi but with similar detection accuracy and performance as MAX 360c.

What I like: -automatic filters -ability to update -the display is aesthetically pleasing What I don’t like: -The mount. I don’t know what bozo thought it was a good idea to put the mount at the far end of the radar. This radar is much heavier than any of my other previous ones. Combine that with the goofy mount and this thing bounces/vibrates like a jackhammer. -Customer service. The one I bought in December was updated in July and started having a problem with the KA band alarm going off all the time while driving. Called passport/escort to see what the deal was. They informed me that it was a pretty common bad software patch from their end and I needed to send it in for them to fix it. The part that peeved me off was I was responsible for shipping, and I need to wait 6-8 weeks for them to do so. In my line of work if I make a mistake, I fix it-without making my client pay for it or wait weeks without it. In summary, I don’t think it was with the inflated price tag. I paid a premium (750 each) for a so-so product that the manufacture semi stands behind.

So much quieter than the Uniden R3 or the previous 360 I own for wife's car. Haven't gotten to test against lidar threats. Does a great job around Atlanta where most just never shut up. Uniden would go off Everytime you got near an Acura. Expensive but with others you get soany falses you begin to tune out alerts. I drive 250 miles a day in metro Atlanta and travel out of state almost every weekend. Highly recommend.

NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

The product works great - when it is working however, I have tried for the last four months calling two to three times per week to get through as one of our three detectors kicked the bucket. Extremely frustrating!! I understand that Covid has hampered businesses - mine included - but Escort really needs to handle their customer service better. The price that we pay for these detectors is crazy not to have better service. Other than that, the detector works great when its working.
