very nice radar detector nice display ''little pricy '' but exelent detection overall nice radar detecor

I'm 22 year old with a red sports car that has a heavy foot. ZERO speeding tickets. That says it all.

This detector has saved me a citation numerous times. It truly detects signals from behind as well. I highly recommend this unit!

My radar detector worked fine at first. I felt protected on the road and did not worry about its effectiveness. Then I got my speeding ticket. I saw the cop and thought to myself, "well, at lease he's not running radar" because my radar detector was not going off. Now, when I drive to work as the sun rises, my radar detector indicates laser every time I go from shade to direct sunlight. It has been 11 months and my radar detector is reading phantom lasers, missing real lasers and just frustrating me altogether. This $300 item is now worth almost nothing to me.

If you have a car with no cigarette lighter or a lighter in a odd space like the center console then the cord has to span across the car making it uncomfortable to drive. The window mount does not really hold the unit and fly off the dashboard frequently. You can not use the app without buying another adapter they sell.

Unfortunately, it isn't possible to rate ZERO for value on this rating scale. Would I recommend this item to a friend? Only if I wanted to end the friendship. I purchased this product because I read a lot of positive reviews and because of the brand name (and unfortunately ignored the negative posts). But if you have problems, watch out, as I was disappointed with my experience. I drove right past radars and the thing didn't even make the slightest chirp. I then encountered a customer service rep who wasn't interested in helping whatsoever. Perhaps others' experiences may be better, but at least be aware that a risk exists that you are going to be left with fancy looking piece of plastic that cost you several hundred dollars. If you feel lucky, go ahead and give it a try; but if you feel lucky, maybe you don't need a radar detector anyway.

THIS DETECTOR HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN. I CANNOT EVEN CALL IT FALSE ALERTS. IT JUST GOES OFF EVERY 5 SECONDS. I'M NOT TRAVELING IN THE CITY, IT GOES OFF IN THE COUNTRY. IN THE MIDDLE OF RICE FIELDS. THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THIS THING. FOR A $300.00 PRODUCT YOU WOULD THINK IT WILL LAST MORE THAN 30 DAYS. OH I FORGOT IT DID, 32 DAYS. JUST LONG ENOUGH FOR ME NOT TO BE ABLE TO BRING IT BACK. NEVER, NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT. I GAVE IT ONE STAR DUE TO THE FACT I CANNOT GIVE A ZERO
