Very glad with my purchase. The device is really simple to use. At least the basic function. The sync with the smart phone was the confusing part. Gave up quickly on that.

I have used the old passport 8500 for years and it was finally wearing out. I have occasionally tried other brands, and no one is as consistent at picking up radar as Escort. This unit will pick up a cop coming in the opposite direction a mile away, over a hill and around a curve! You will get an occasional false positive but that is a small price to pay. This model doesn't talk to you which I like.

Works good but if I bought another one I would get the next best one. Just about any alarm sets this thing off. There has been a few times it went of signaling me to slow down and there was a cop nearby. So has been useful

Great detector for the price and expandable for the laser scrambler and passport live. without jumping up a couple hundred dollars this is the best out.

This is my second Escort. I have gotten one speeding ticket while using my Escort radar detector, however, I feel it has kept me from getting more.

I have found this detector very good and accurate. I own two of them so I can keep one in each car and not have to transfer them back and forth.

This radar dector works great. It notifies us of police way in advance. It has saved me more than enough money already to pay for itself.

This is an excellent mid level unit. Seems to be very accurate. The red indicators make it easy to see during the daytime.

The newer 9500 model and the passport max model probably have a longer range but both are much more money.

This is an excellent unit that works very well. It has fewer false alarms than other detectors I have used.

Detects radar very well. Escort is a top brand for sure, wouldn't recommend any other brand.

For the price, it is a great radar. Very easy to set up and it has a long range in picking up radar guns.
