Firstly the lock showed up in one piece from our local delivery guys. Unboxing is very easy and everything you need is inside, two keys, batteries , the lock etc. We have other EUPHY products so we already had an account to monitor this and add to our home security. Installation was a bit weird and I had some issues with the deadbolt staying in place and it kept wanting to pop out. I was sick when I installed this so my patience wasn’t great and I got a little frustrated. But once I got it in it was super easy to set up and make a code, scan a plan etc. The best part about this lock isn’t the camera or th screen it’s the palm reader it works incredibly well and my wife agreed that she thought palm scanner sounded stupid but it’s actually practical. The worst part about this lock is the 2k resolution I wish it was 4k and then the screen which mounts on the inside I mean I guess it’s cool but I thought it to be corky and limited view from the camera. Just look through the peep hole like a normal creeper :). Overall I am very pleased with the ease of use and technology in the lock and no idea how I will ever live without a palm scanner again! This is a pretty good door lock. Firstly, it has many features that the average smart door lock does not have. The first of these features is fingerprint unlock. Most locks that I've used in the past only have the option to use a code to unlock them, not a finger. The second of these features is the camera. Similar to fingerprint unlock, most locks that I've used in the past do not have this feature. Secondly, there are no monthly fees. Most products like this (such as doorbells) have outrageous monthly fees. While this lock is priced quite high, I think it is better to have a higher upfront cost and no monthly fee rather than a low upfront cost and a high monthly fee. Thirdly, it integrates with many other ecosystems such as Amazon Alexa, HomePod, Google Assistant, and SmartThings. I personally use SmartThings because I have a Samsung phone. This makes it much easier to use lock as pretty much all smartphones have one of these apps pre-downloaded nowadays. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a decent smart door lock.
