    Does work well but needs a plug. Uses local on board memory storage with memory card. Did not connect to the homebase functions on own with the app. Would rather have a cordless battery powered camera.

    Coming from Wyze i expected similar but better performance and overall quality because of price and 2k. Like wyze eufy is also 15fps. Still micro usb port in 2022, not usb-c. I will soon phase out micro usb completely. I won't go into video quality there are plenty of video reviews on youtube. The motor is noisy. When mic is on and someone talking and camera set to track motion, motor noise will interfere with speech. Their older model pan tilt is silent. I enabled microphone, set the follow sound on, made noise behind camera, it didn't react. I disabled and enabled mic and repeated several times. Nothing. Sensitivity level set to medium. Huge cons for this brand: no black color, no usb-c port, siren is not loud, app fingerprint login doesn't work on any of my phones. Every time i exit the app i need to login again + verification code. Extremely annoying. Whatever they recommend for this in eufy forum doesn't work. SD card is encrypted. I can't take it out and read in any other device. I don't want to use NAS, none of the RTSP ONVIF software was able to connect to this camera, i don't want to pay for cloud. If something happens to the camera and it gets damaged, i don't know how i'll be able to get video stored on the card. I don't want to buy another eufy cam just to see if SD card becomes readable. I won't pay eufy to decrypt the card for me. I don't know what's going to happen when eufy service is down and cameras stop recording. If this brand goes out of business, their cameras will become useless. I'll look for something different.
