Both cameras could not hold their postions, when I would save the camera view I wanted. They would slowly move down or if someone would walk by. I have their outdoor camera & like them very much.

Good Luck Getting This to Work!

After downloading an app on your phone, you have to scan the QR code on the back of the camera with your phone to set it up. Only it refuses to accept the QR code, saying "Incorrect QR code." (There's only one QR code on this camera.) You can also input it manually... except the camera's SN is letters and numbers and you only get a numeric keypad to enter the SN. So that doesn't work either. Really, really stupid.

Buy a memory card for this

So I returned it. If you want to store all of your recordings to play then back, buy the memory card.

- As the Wi-Fi list is sync up from the camera device, and not from your phone, the signal of Wi-Fi in your home might be too weak or unstable for the device to connect.
- Unstable Wi-Fi signal affects the connection between the camera and your home router. It is recommended for you to strengthen the Wi-Fi signal to the camera to ensure it operates properly.

Indoor mini cam with solid features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Eufy has one of the best subscription free security devices and this IndoorCam Mini is the latest from them. The build quality is great and the cam itself is compact and has sleek design. It is very easy to setup. You would need to download the Eufy security app to setup as well as monitor and view the video recordings. The video quality is clear with 2K resolution and the night vision works well too. Since this is a wired camera, you might want to consider the placement as you need to plug in to the wall outlet. The camera comes with micro-USB cable, hardware required for mounting. You can use a microSD card for continous video recording. If you have NAS setup, this camera does support RTSP feature. The camera can pan 360 degrees as well as pan up and down. It activates the recording if it picks up any noise. You can also setup home privacy mode which will automatically stop recording and rotate the camera to a preferred angle. One thing I wish this camera came with was the animal detection feature. Overall, if you are looking to add an indoor camera to your home security system, this is an awesome camera with great features.

Connection Trouble

Despite standing directly next to my router and the camera indicating it was connected, I could not communicate with it using the Eufy App (I was also connected to my 2.4 GHz network on my phone). Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Great standalone indoor security camera
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The eufy - IndoorCam Mini is a great standalone indoor security camera that offers direct recording to a micro SD card which means no ongoing subscription is needed. This is one of the best aspects of this particular camera if you’re like me and simply looking for something that you can use to monitor an area of your home but don’t need a full security system. The pan and tilt functionality and control via the app is surprisingly smooth and I also really like how the camera can automatically pivot towards noises it detects in addition to its motion detection. These really are great features for a camera of this size at its current price point. In addition, you get 2K resolution for motion detection recording (1080p for continuous recording which is still good), decent night vision recording, and a very convenient privacy mode which allows you to have the camera face a direction of your choosing and turn off when enabled. All of these features make the eufy – IndoorCam Mini a great standalone indoor security camera and I highly recommend it!

Great little camera for the price!

Can't get it to work n

The reason they gave is because it can't hook to a 5 GHz modem. It can only connect to a 2.5 GHz modem. I wish they would have told me that before I purchased it. I guess I'm going to have to return it

Worked for a day!

I just came home and it didn’t recognize i was home and the alarm went off. I go into the app to cancel the alarm and it tells me I’m offline. Never worked again after that. Will be returning, what a waste of time!
