Eufy Camera

Motion activation not as good as the blink and the app is a bit more clumsy These cameras are a wider angle...not sure I like that. This system was twice the price as the blink and I wish now I would've saved my money, primarily because I haven't found it to be worth the extra money.

The resolution is pretty good, also a plus. Somewhere prior to purchase I read that you could expand the memory via the USB port on the base unit. That feature is not yet implemented. My other complaint has been with the motion activation range not meeting spec. They advertise 20 feet. I get about 15 feet. The activation seems a bit slow as well, where the subject is well into the range prior to the beginning of recording.

App occasionally won’t connect to server which is annoying and not the camera itself fault but also an annoying feature is that when using HomeKit, you can’t stream/record in 2K. Either via the native app or Apple Home app. Still messing with the motion sensitivity as sometimes I can be 15 ft away but in front of camera watching myself through the app and it doesn’t sense me. Definitely in its view. Range from its bridge is pretty good.
