Nice outdoor camera bundle ! Good price , no monthly fees! No that good sound or mic

This is my second time buying Eufy cameras. The same as the first time there are issues with detection and now the alarm is set off even when it is disabled. Eufy customer service has not been any help. I don't recommend any of them.

I had been pondering getting a home security/monitoring system for a while now, and when the new EufyCam 2 Pro became available I took a chance to try it out. One thing I have been cautious about with all the new home camera systems is the cloud storage of videos and the chance for the system to be compromised. The EufyCam system does not require you to store your videos in the cloud, everything can be stored locally in the base station’s built-in 16 Gb memory. Installation was very easy – I was concerned because the printed materials provided are minimal at best. However, after you download the Eufy Security app, it pretty much walks you through the process very easily. The base station also has voice prompts (very loud voice prompts) which assist in getting set up. Adding and synchronizing new cameras with the system is very straightforward using the app. In fact, the most tricky part of the process was mounting the cameras in the locations I wanted, but that was only tricky because the mounting brackets are small and have a couple parts that you can easily drop while assembling (if you are clumsy like me). The app actually has mini-videos that can walk you through the locating and mounting process. So far, I have found the system to work well and to provide good images. The video is clear day or night and the field of view from each camera seems very wide. There is a fisheye effect due to the wide view angle, but that doesn’t bother me - I'll sacrifice some distortion for the sake of wider coverage. Even nighttime imagery is surprisingly good. I’m less impressed by the audio – It’s great that 2-way audio is provided, but the microphones on the camera pick up a lot of wind noise and distortion. There are a lot of options in the Eufy Security app for customizing the alerts on a per-camera basis, I’ve only begun to explore the depths of what can be done. The motion sensitivity can be adjusted, and can also be set for face detection, human detection or any motion detection. I’ve only had the system for a week, so I can’t really judge the battery life yet. However both cameras still read 100% battery after a week so that is promising. The initial charging took about 6 hours. Quality of the equipment is very good – the cameras feel substantial and well-built. The base station, on the other hand, is surprisingly lightweight. The base station has to plug into your network router, which may limit your options for where it is located – Our house is not too large (~2,100 SF) and we did not have a problem with signal strength to the cameras. I did note there is a delay in the video when you watch the ‘live’ camera view. The live view is useful when you are setting up the cameras (to check field of view) and just to check on things – but there is a noticeable 1-2 second delay. This would normally not be a big deal, so not a real problem for me. The 16 Gb of built-in storage supposedly will store about 3 months of videos, which should be adequate for me. I’m going to add a third camera soon to cover my garage, so that will eat up a little more storage space. I’ve read that Eufy plans on a firmware update that would allow you to expand storage by plugging a USB drive into the USB port on the rear of the base station – This would be a welcome update. I was hoping the base station would have an SD card slot allowing you to easily add storage directly, but this is not offered. In summary – I’m very satisfied with this camera system! Installation and setup were easy, and everything just works well! I didn't want to have to learn a lot of arcane security technical knowledge to start using a home camera system, and this EufyCam hit the mark.

The picture is not good, nor the night vision. Also, cameras pick up animals small cats and dogs. Alerts are really quick on movement. I like not having to pay a monthly fee unless I choose to subscribe. I have only had cameras for a month. These cams dont have the best picture quality. If that's what your looking for dont buy these. These are not compatible with Alexa so another negative but I knew that before purchase.

If you use homekit this camera is good, although the battery does not last what the manufacturer says, not even half that time.

10/10 loved it and recommend it for anyone looking for a good security camera

Easy to use you dont no subscription just internet..

Here's my 3 week experience with these employees. Cam 1 and 2 if I set you to motion detection level 7 how long will you last before recharging again? Answer: 20 days You said you'll work 365 before having to be recharged again. Answer: Theoretically I could but only expect me to record 15 events a day. Cam 1 and 2 if I set you to motion detection level 4 how long will you last before recharging again? Answer: About 300 days. That's 1% drop every 3 days but don't expect me to record everything that passes by the house. Cam 1 Do you see that delivery truck that just parked in front of the house? Answer: Yes but it didn't trigger my motion detection, so I'm not recording it. Cam 2 Do you see that same truck? Answer: Yes but it's almost 5 pm and I didn't record a single thing today so why start now. Cam 1 can you see the license plate of the car parked on the sidewalk in front of the house? Answer: Yes but I can't read it. Cam 2 did you see that person walk passed the house? Answer: I woke up too late and they were already down the street sorry. It's been fun and you've been easy to work with but I have to let you go. Tell those wired 4k POE cams to come in, they're a little harder to install but they're worth it.

No problems yet only had it for amonth but works good.

This an excellent product. I have used Arlo, blink but this is really good. Good view angle, Good wireless connection.
