    We really need a camera system that could cover a wider range and because we live in area of low light this camera came in great for dark and night vision.

    System works pretty good. The only issue is it doesn’t pick up 100% of motion, which sort of defeats it being an effective security system.

    It's Ok. They have better resolution than our old 10 yr old cameras. There are issues. Sometimes it seems to lose videos. The other day, we had a package delivered, and I saw the video. A day later we thought we were missing the package (like it had gotten stolen), and the video of the delivery was not there anymore. Just random things like that. Luckily, we found the package, so it wasn't a big deal. But I would have been irritated if it was stolen, and we had no video of either the delivery or somebody taking it. Good resolution, but not all functions always work. Also, I put that I would not recommend this to a friend, but I was in between on the answers. If I get it to work a little better, I might.

    After three or four months of use, the batteries are down to 25%. Eufy had an update, which I did. Then the home base stopped chiming an alert to motion. Everything was programmed to chime, as was before the update. I then realized that Tone 1 that I used didn't chime, but Tone 2 did chime. I can't use Tone 2, it freaks the dog out. A week passes and Tone 1 started working, but only for a few seconds with each motion detection. Being single female on desolate property, I NEED to hear an alert when motion is detected. Eufy customer service is nonexistent. So I just blew hundreds of dollars on junk, from money I really couldn't spare.... to not sleep well because who knows if someone is on my property or not? Eufy won't alert me. Waste of money.

    Provides a really clear picture and has no subscription fees. After much research of other camera brands, I am so glad I went with Eufy.

    Issue: Failure to switch to auto night vision

    If you just need security camera for DAY TIME, this is one of the best cameras out there for you. My issue is the camera not switching to auto night vision automatically, I have to switch it manually. Here are 2 youtube videos showing what my problem is.     Great camera for daytime operation, absolutely no night vision capability unless you have every outside light on; kind of defeats the purpose. If it had night vision, I would give 10 stars.

    Really garbage. They claim to last a year. Have had to charge them every 2 months. For HomeKit they aren’t good either. Don’t record full clips. Back and forth game with them telling me to call Apple. Go with Logitech.

    Connection is bad. 1 camera keeps cutting in and out even when base is near. My internet is on gig fiber so this should I shouldnt have a problem.

    I expected more for these being eufycams top of the line cameras. It took me countless times to pair these up. Motion detection only works 90% of the time.

      Please set the detection mode to “All motions” and increase the sensitivity to see if it helps. Currently, there are two types of detection: All motion mode and Human only mode. 1. In "Human Only" mode, if the continuous human movement is not detected in the camera view after it is triggered, the camera will not save the video. For safety reasons, it will switch from "human only" detection to "all actions" at night. 2. In “All motions” mode, if a movement is detected in the camera view, the camera will save the video.
