If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
Please know that for eufyCam 2/2 Pro, a fully charged camera can last for one year, and for eufyCam 2C/2C Pro, it can last for half-year, with these usage scenarios:
- 68°F (20°C) temperature
- 10 motion detections per day and recorded for 30 seconds each time motion was detected. (Standby power consumption is included in the usage time.)
Battery life varies and depends on the number of times motion is detected, recording time duration, and environmental temperatures.
In this case, could you please try the following tips to see whether they can help?
-Please make sure that the network your device is connected to is in good condition. Weak network signal will cause Homebase to frequently send heartbeat packets to confirm the camera status, which will cause the camera to discharge quickly.
-Keep the Optimal Battery Life Mode in Camera Settings > Camera Working Mode. In this mode, the power consumption of the battery will be reduced, but it may also cause some motions will not be able to be detected.
-Select ""Human Only"" instead of ""All Motions"". Or decrease the sensitivity. Steps: Devices>motion detection>sensitivity level(type)
-Set up Activity Zone to filter the false positives.
If those don't help, please reach out to us via support@eufylife.com or call us at +1 (800) 988 7973. We are more than happy to assist you further.

High quality and easy setup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received my EufyCam2 system a few days ago and I have to say Im quit impressed. To start with, the product came very well packaged. Secure and well organized I had a positive first reaction upon opening the box. The set up was very easy. The entire process probably took 15 minutes. Installing and setting up the app, getting the home base module hooked up to my wi-fi, and linking the cameras to that were all very quick and easy. Operation of the app is very intuitive. Linking the cameras to the base is aided with some verbal queues making the process a snap. Once I reached this point I let both cameras fully charge while I played around with their function. The app has multiple settings that allow you to control when and how much video is recorded at a time to suite your needs and help conserve battery life. The picture quality is very clear. Also the cameras have a wider viewing angle than I am used to. Very impressed with the video I’m seeing. The quality of everything feels very solid. They claim a single charge in the cameras can last up to a year. I have no idea if that claim is true yet, but holding one of these cameras in you hand feels like it’s all battery! Once both cameras were fully charged and I had a feel for how well they worked installed them outside. There is a simple feature that allows you to see the signal strength as you are deciding exactly where to mount them. The mounting brackets are very well designed and super easy to install. Once the brackets are up, attaching the cameras is a breeze as well. All in all I’m very impressed. Seems like a high quality product that is very easy to setup. I love that there is no monthly feel of any sort and I have access to my videos whenever I want. My initial feelings are this product deserves a solid A. And if the battery charge on the cameras last as long as advertised, it’s gonna be an A+!

Security Risk! Footage goes through Chinese server
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.At first glance, this product offered so much and stood out compared to the competition. However, I had discovered through credible sources that all uploaded footage goes through CHINESE servers, which is concerning. As much as I liked these cameras, I can NOT trust any footage being channeled to a foreign country rife with unethical practices. I returned the product after discovering this suppressed and unadvertised fact! Buyer beware...

A lot of potential with the basics down
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So the truth is some people don't really have a central hub for security. I don't own a desktop computer and my desk certainly isn't near my router so having a monitor plugged into my Hub is annoying. There is also the fact that a majority of houses don’t have ethernet cable ran throughout them and I would say most people don't know that much about wiring them up. I have another wireless camera set that has its own flaws and advantages but this one has one amazing advantage that is a standout feature. That is the battery life. I haven't had the cameras for a full year but they haven’t moved from the 100% in the week that I've owned them and I didn't put them on power conserving so I am quite certain they will last for at least 6 months. They claim a full year and I will be absolutely amazed if they go that long but only charging even every 6 months will be amazing. To the other parts of the camera that are important as well. So this Eufy system isn't as refined as some of the other brands so it depends on what you are looking for when you get this. At the end of the day it does do the job of a security camera, it's just that some of the features aren't quite worked out yet. Motion Detection and Recording: The camera has the standard detect and record functionality to it but also has the ability to automate the recording based other motion detectors and input. However, it is within the Eufy ecosystem and doesn't have integration into smartthings or other smart home systems. You can change the recording modes based on geofencing your location or different modes. You can also disable it if for instance all the neighbor kids are playing out front and your kids are in and out of the house and the camera is notifying you every 2 seconds of a new human. That is the next nice feature, this camera can detect the difference between an animal and a human and ignore the animal if you so choose. These cameras don't have the facial recognition that is advertised when you first set up the app, after a little digging it looks like that is a different camera that could be added to this system as well. But he app does show a little picture of the persons face as possible when going through the list of detections. This is where I really wish that that face would pop up in the notification bar or a picture of the human that set off the motion detector so that there is an immediate idea of the person coming to the door. However it doesn't. Resolution and Night vision: I love 2k, I feel like it is the perfect trade off. My monitor is 2k and I have a laptop with a 4k screen that just struggles with my old apps sometimes. 2k is extremely clear, adds a ton of detail and most of the time doesn't come with the price tag that 4k systems like to boast. Then there is the night vision. I have one of these cameras in my in a small closet that houses my safe for my collection of items. The night vision is awesome, clear even in pretty black conditions and works even better with just the smallest amounts of light. Setup and Integration: Setup is amazingly simple and is 100% mobile. So if you only have a PC or Mac then this might not be the one you want. I think there may be more people in the exact opposite situation that only have an iPhone or Android for people in this category this could be the perfect camera setup. Integration falls a bit short right now. Alexa has been unable to detect the cameras as new devices as of yet, however, there is a giant beta stamp on those settings so I won't knock the camera system for something they say may not work not working. But that leads into one of the bigger questions. What are you looking for. If you are looking for an absolutely refined experience that probably wont get a ton better than this probably isn't the system for you. If you are looking for a system that has the basics down and a solid piece of hardware that can handle quite a bit more than it is capable of today, then this system might be for you. There are a ton of features that look to be added in the future that aren't available today. For me with the basics solid I love the fact that the hardware seems to be built for capabilities that will be added as time progresses and there is every chance my security system will get some good software upgrades in the future (like adding additional support for storage via USB). And the battery life helps make that decision even easier for me. And talking about battery, this camera is set up for battery only, no "this feature only works if you have AC power". Pros: Battery Life 2k 100% designed for use as battery operated camera Advanced hardware Night vision Activity zones for motion detection Cons: Some features are promised but not delivered yet. (this equals risk) Battery is not removable (8 hours recharge) Micro USB I would definitely recommend this camera system for the simple reason that it has the basics down and knows that it is a battery operated systems and doesn't try to get you to run power to get some of the options that would be nice to have like setting zones of motion detection.

Super Low quality video and night vision
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The camera looks nice and professional but The video quality is no where close to 2k, in night vision hardly you see something, I have a $40 camera the video quality and night vision is much better than this camera, won’t recommend at all even with discount price

In regards to the video quality, you can choose the video quality to be 2K HD or Full HD(1080P) on the Eufy security app, steps: Camera settings>Video quality>Recording quality. If you have enabled NAS or subscribed to clould storage, the recording will only support 1080P Full HD.
As for the night vision, if the camera is placed too close to obstacles, such as a wall or a lamp, it will reflect the IR light back to the camera’s lens. Then only objects nearby will appear a bright white, and the rest of the scene will appear dark. To fix this, try to adjust the angle and direction of the camera; keep objects close to the camera out of the field-of-view of the lens.

Can't live stream

If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
-Make sure your wifi is 2.4 Hz wifi
-Confirm if your wifi is encrypted by WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2PSK, WPAPSK/TKIP, WPA2PSK/TKIP.
-If the LED light on the Homebase is red, please reboot the router, reset the HomeBase and add the Homebase again.
-Some houses have two network devices. For example, one is the ISP-provided Internet gateway/modem and the other is a router purchased separately. During setup, make sure your smartphone and wifi chime are connected to the same wireless router, and the Wi-Fi is not isolated from the LAN.Your phone should not be connected to the Guest Wi-Fi network.
-Try to temporarily disable the firewall setting on your router to see whether the Wifi chime can connect to WiFi. Make sure these ports are allowed:
TCP:80, 443
UDP:0-65535
-Press and the SYNC button located on the back the HomeBase for a couple of times until you hear ""HomeBase is read for setup"".
-When Homebase is connected for the first time, you need to connect Homebase to the router with an ethernet cable. After the normal connection, the LED of Homebase 2 will be blue and steady. If you want to connect Homebase to the router wirelessly after that, you need to switch to Wifi Repeter mode.Steps: My device>Homebase Name>Homebase Settings>Connection>Wifi Setup.

Truly Wireless and Easy to Setup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really quite happy with this setup. Major Pros: 1. No Cloud Service Fees - everything can be stored locally and is available for as long as you want. 2. Truly wireless - cameras need to charge for 12 hours out of the box, but after that Eufy claims upto 365 days between charges - even if I get half of that, I'll be happy. 3. Motion based recording - Nest cameras record all the time and will easily use up your internet bandwidth limit. Here, these cameras only record when something interesting happens - the way it should be. 4. Set up is easy! 5. Customization - Lots of options including scheduling, geofencing, modes, sensitivity, human detection... 6. Image quality is great with 2K video! Cons: 1. Mounting - can't really ceiling mount these, they need to be mounted to a wall. I have all brick exterior, so this is a bit of a pain. 2. Also, they suggest avoiding direct sunlight, which limits places you can mount these as well. Overall, I am very happy with these, the best security cameras I have used so far!

If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
--Please try a different 5V 2A USB charger and a different USB cable to charge the camera for 2 hours. Since iPhone wall charger normally outputs 5V 1A, please use non-iPhone wall charger to charge the camera;

--Please the issue happens to certain camera(s), please swap the camera with a working camera;
--Please save all important videos from eufy app, unpair the camera and re-add it to the eufy app;
--Please try to make sure there are no obstacles around HomeBase and the distance between Homebase and camera is within 20-30M.
--HomeBase will support a Wi-Fi connection via your router. Please set HomeBase to Wi-Fi in the Side menu > My Devices > Select HomeBase > HomeBase Settings > Connection to see if it helps
