Great option, worth the price!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used a different type of security cameras only at work, now I decided to try this wireless cameras to keep an eye on my house and the packages that we rereviewed at home and sometimes get lost. I can say that the best part is the installation, some times one can think that it is required a whole geek team to install a couple of cameras... but it is not like that. The kit comes with specific accessories you need to install the cameras yourself which is awesome. The app works great and is easy to use, you can be in any place and check out what is going on at home. The video quality is quite impressive if we consider the size and the independence that the base gives to the cameras to make them wireless. You don't have to worry about batteries, you just charge the cameras and when its time (the company says 1 year), you charge them again and that's it. I would definitely recommend this cameras to those who need to keep their family and home safe, even being at work or at the gym or virtually anywhere.

Really awesome 2k outdoor camera wireless

Took about 10min to install the camera outdoor wirelessly and extended my router connection longer so i can have more wifi. Fast and simple. Good quality even when its night time.

To get notifications on our phones in the event someone enters the property is comforting. My only critique is that you have to be there to reset the camera. Just one month after setting it up, one of the cameras went off-line and we are 760miles away but have to go there to fix the issue. This was the only disappointing part.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have eufy camera all around my house. And i rely on them to keep my house and family safe. I have three flood light, 5 of this junk im reviewing and 2 home base and a door bell. So when i say i rely on eufy and have all cameras around the house i mean ALL around the house. Everything is going good at first until one down server that affected all my cameras. I was not able to view, record anyone passing by or get any notification until eufy server went back up. I could not even load the history. Then everything got wrose from there on and im dealing with right now as i write this review. Recent i was not getting any notfications, recordings or my door bell and the eufy pros. They are all connected to the homesbase. I can view but no recording being saved and no notifications of motions being detected. I tried to turn my camera on and off because some times that would do the fix but i keep getting a homebase connection issue(-3). And this is the 4th time this happened. The steps i took to fix it. 1. Reset the whole dam eufy cam and and still dint work you would think resetting would fix it even factory reset as eufy representative suggested. I deleted all my history because i was running out of space and sometimes it doesnt automatically over writes old recordings. Home base notification said deleted but it took 3 days for the memory to clear and the history to clear from the app. And here i am december 17 2022 still having the issue and not yet fixed. They keep insisting its my internet/wifi when everything in my house that requires interenet is working perfectly fine including eufy floodlight. All homesbase is hard wire and not on wifi. I have not felt seen and slow down on my wifi so my wifi could not be the problem.

In this case, could you please try the following tips to see whether they can help?
-Confirm if your wifi is encrypted by WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2PSK, WPAPSK/TKIP, WPA2PSK/TKIP.
-If the LED light on the Homebase is red, please reboot the router, reset the HomeBase and add the Homebase again.
-Some houses have two network devices. For example, one is the ISP-provided Internet gateway/modem and the other is a router purchased separately. During setup, make sure your smartphone and wifi chime are connected to the same wireless router, and the Wi-Fi is not isolated from the LAN.Your phone should not be connected to the Guest Wi-Fi network.
-Try to temporarily disable the firewall setting on your router to see whether the Wifi chime can connect to WiFi. Make sure these ports are allowed:
TCP:80, 443
UDP:0-65535
-Press and the SYNC button located on the back the HomeBase for a couple of times until you hear ""HomeBase is read for setup"".
-When Homebase is connected for the first time, you need to connect Homebase to the router with an ethernet cable. After the normal connection, the LED of Homebase 2 will be blue and steady. If you want to connect Homebase to the router wirelessly after that, you need to switch to Wifi Repeter mode.Steps: My device>Homebase Name>Homebase Settings>Connection>Wifi Setup.

Not True local storage

They upload every event to the cloud and it can evem be accessed without a eufy account. This would allow someone to view live footage from a camera. For me the local storage was a huge selling point and to find out that eufy lied about it entirely. This is a big trust breaker and I will not be buying any Eufy, or Anker products for that matter, again.

Buying another system today for my in-laws! I highly recommend, no wires, no subscriptions, a great alternative to other costly security systems.

Eufy wont stand by their products

I recently discovered the light would not go on when it sensed movement. The camera is located behind the house so I didnt notice it. I called up Eufy and they wouldnt replace the unit even though it was just past the warranty. Since I dont go out back of the house I am sure the unit has not been working for awhile. Last time I purchase a eufy product... will go with a company that actually backs up their products.

Improvement required
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cameras are activated when they want, meaning packages are being delivered and camera is not always activated. And yes I have messed with sensitivity. Cams are triggered by cars even when selecting human only. If you set a camera in a common area don’t expect battery life to last a year or close. Also, I noticed one of my cameras after being fully charged immediately lost a couple of battery bars very quickly and is concerning. Last, one of my cameras no longer looks clear or in high def. almost looks like it has some fog or something like that.

In regards to the issue of missing movements, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
1. Set the “Motion detection” to be “All motions” and adjust the “Detection sensitivity” to the highest.
2. Delete the activity zone if it has been set up. Steps:side menu>my devices>motion detection>activity zone.
3. A picture to show the position where you want to trigger the camera
4. The exact time point when the camera missed to capture the movement. Such as November at 19:05.
5. Please download any video from the app and send it to us.
Please also provide the video clip showing the camera was triggered by the car when selecting human only.
In most common scenarios, a fully charged eufyCam 2 pro camera can last for one year. Our eufyCam 2 pro's battery test was done in the following conditions:
- Temperature: 68°F (20°C);
- 10 motion detections per day;
- Recorded for 30 seconds each time motion was detected;
- Standby power consumption was included during usage time;
- No Homekit integration.
The battery life will vary depending on the number of motions detected, the length of recording time, and the ambient temperature. If the Homekit is integrated, the battery will consume more power. Would you please provide the SN# of the camera that discharge quickly for furter analysis?
As for the camera that has image issue, please wipe the lens or dry the camera lens by exposing it to sunlight or put it on top of a dehumidifier for a few hours to see if the issue can be resolved.

Buyer Beware Eufy Lied

Buyer Beware read what has come out about Eufy Cameras and huge security flaws.
