The camera connects to your home wifi and requires AC power. Camera mounts easily as long as you have a circular wall base and includes a 3-prong plug to wire into the camera to set it up before mounting. Camera has local storage only that's accessible/downloadable via a mobile device with the option of paid cloud storage for $2.99/month $29.99/year per cam or $9.99/month $99.99/year for up to 10 cams. Where you mount the camera/lights significantly affects night time performance! I mounted this above my garage door and the roof trim drops down slightly and I park my cars close to the door. The reflection of the lights off my car windows and the white sash overexposed the camera at night and anything over 10 feet away isn't visible. If I turn on "night mode" and set it so the lights don't turn on, I can see all the way to the street. But the lights turning on is a major deterrent. Settings: Lights - Manual on/off, scheduled on/off, motion detection or controlled by Google or Alexa - and you can adjust the light brightness in each setting. Motion Detection - You can set the sensitivity from 1-5 and set the zone/area in which it will detect motion. Recording - You can set clip lengths from 30 - 120 seconds, and set a retrigger interval from 0-30 seconds and keep the clip running or stop it when motion stops. The camera has 3.6 GB of internal storage, and the clips are compressed and don't take up much space. You can set the camera to record sound, sound an alarm auto/manual and talk through the device. It's very loud! There are 6 preset "security" options in the app - Home, Away - No Alert - Disarmed - Geofencing - Schedule ... and you can set manual parameters.

Product lasted 20 months before the flood lights literally went out and would no longer work. Motion detection and recordings still functioned and the device acted as if the lights were turning on during night time motion detection, but resetting config settings and the entire device could not fix it. Because it was past their limited warranty timeframe, I am left to look for a better quality and reliable brand since this is the third Eufy product to go bad on me without replacements.

This Eufy Floodlight Camera is a problem solver. This product has made itself right at home replacing my motion detecting floodlight over my garage and has been an upgrade in every way and is very welcome to my home. As a floodlight, this product excels. BRIGHT white light makes the driveway a very noticeable and has proven very helpful when my home projects that I am using the driveway for go past daylight. The LED bulbs are also a great feature for their longevity and efficiency. I have set my floodlights to "Dusk til Dawn" setting instead of motion, as an added security feature to deter potential thieves. The light also supplements an existing camera system I have with its light, allowing me to turn off night vision from a redundant camera I have mounted covering the front yard, allowing color recording all night. As a camera, it does well. Not great, but well. The resolution is only 1080p. Once upon a time ago this was a great resolution to have. But in current times, I would have really liked to see a 2K or 4K resolution. You will be able to see what happened, but may miss the finer details of an event. That being said, the camera is assisted by the great floodlight which aids in night viewing, as well as what appears to be a pretty good person/vehicle detection algorithm that only notifies you when relevant motion is detected. and not when a squirrel runs across the driveway. This is huge has I have had experience with a lot of camera systems, and false notifications might be the worst side effect of any camera system. Other than a better resolution, I would like to see a Home/Away feature that would stop notifying me of myself working in the driveway every 30 seconds. I may be missing it in the settings, but If I am going to be outside, I tend to find myself turning notifications off all together. Overall, at an entry level price point and easy setup, this camera will meet at least 90% of users needs and be a HUGE step in home security for anyone looking to start off a surveillance system on their house. I would like to see a couple more features added and a better resolution (maybe Eufy will come out with a higher end model soon?), but will all of its features combined, it is well worth the money.

Misleading recording for free (it's only for 1 day) if you don't purchase the cloud all the features are useless the camera quality is not great comparing to ring camara system

Absolutely awful setup. Zero indication the box didn't include a junction box base necessary to setup this behemoth. My previous $30 floodlight did; not so much with the $200 dandy. No size specifications either, so I purchased a "standard" junction box size for floodlights only to have found it's too small for this one, and of course the size isn't readily found at hardware stores without a week out ship to store.

Install was easy and unit is nicely designed. But it refuses to connect to WiFi. As of now it’s an expensive night light. Will try connecting again at a later time; ran out of patience

Brought it because the reviews were great and there was no subscription required to use the camera but after brining this home, we relized that it required electrical work.

Stay away from this company! This outdoor camera doesn't work correctly. Sensitivity constantly changes. Can't stop unit from coming on every time a car passes by. Worked great for little over a week now it has changed again. Eufy admits they have a problem but claim all brands have same problem and offered a 10% credit on my next Eufy purchase. Don't plan to ever buy another Eufy anything. Don't or can't fix what they sell don't want anymore of it.

Not wireless so inaccurate description might work well, but wanted battery operation. Very unhappy, needs a different description.

Bulbs cannot be changed, super weird. if a bulb dies its trash

Spend a little more and buy a Ring. You want quality then you have to pay for it.

I never could get it to connect to my Orbi Mesh Network. It would not connect even when I tried to connect i my Garage which is 80 feet from the router. I gave up and returned it to Best buy.

It seems as though this is wireless, but it's not.

Easy instructions to follow for the install, once fully set up you get a great picture image, very clear, you are able to zoom in, the only problem i had was the detection part if i set it to level 5 pick everything up to the street about 50 feet away or so even the a very small branch moving, if i set it to 4 it picks up only up to like 10 feet away, i do love the fact that when it records it starts about 5 seconds before the movement happened so you are able to see what caused it.

Knowing Eufy are a part of the Anker series I knew this would be a great device. So the packaging it arrives in is nice, everything packed safely and and all paperwork to get this to work was present. I had an electrician install this and he said that he loved this system when it came to installing as these have a plug connected via wirenuts which makes setting this up much easier. We were able to set the camera up in the house before he installed it. He had it installed in no time. It was easy to connect to the app and the app allows you to change the field of view. It’s great! The floodlight also has a very loud alarm which is a great feature to scare away unwanted guests who are up to no good. The lights on this thing are exceptionally bright. And this is why it can record at night. These lights really do light my front yard up. Another thing I love about this is the fact it has on board recording. A lot of cameras have a subscription based approach that you pay a monthly fee for. Overall this is a great security feature. It illuminates my yard so well and the picture is pretty clear thanks to the 1080P camera. It’s easy to set up and the app is easy to use. Highly recommended

I have done many reviews for electronics. I have never given a bad one. If you want security cameras with ease of setting up and using, buy a different one.

Spent two days trying to get the camera to connect to the internet via the Netgear 1100 router. Did not succeed. Light worked good; Ed to the store.

When I got this I thought it would be a direct replacement for my security light but this light was more with the added camera. The hook up was very easy if you follow the directions. I like that you setup the light on the app prior to installing it out in the field. I was looking for a a/c plug for another application so I am happy that there was one included in this package. The light is very bright and the camera has a lot of features. The only con I can say is I had to move my wifi access point closer for some reason this light needs quite a bit of a strong signal to operate. Also once it is working the blinking white light is actually working. I had thought it was no internet as my app told me but it was actually working the app was just delayed on the connection. I believe the internet connectivity at the light is poor due to the line voltage nearby that was probably blocking the signal. Otherwise this light works great.

Just installed Eufy Security Floodlight Camera and found out it doesn’t support 5G WiFi. No indication until trying to connect to WiFi.

I'm starting to find I love all things made by Anker. They come packaged well, well designed, and well thought out. This camera/floodlight is no exception. I understand that they're positioning the Eufy brand to be separate from the Anker name, but I feel like the little brand recognition that is there is something they should capitalize on, not shy away from. Eufy is Anker's home products brand and I'm excited to see them carried somewhere else than A-zon for once! For ease of setup this camera/floodlight comes with a power cord preinstalled so you canb program the wireless connection BEFORE you install the light. I think this is amazing and the packaging and presentation are top notch. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The construction is nice and solid, with the base and flood lights being made from metal, and the camera is in a plastic housing. Both lights and the camera are on adjustable arms that feel nice and solid as well, as in they're not going to move after you install them. This camera/light was designed to be installed in both directions. By that I mean installed horizontally or vertically. The arm positioning is a little tricky in the horizontal orientation, and struggling with this led to one of my reasons for 4 out of 5 instead of 5 stars. I won't dwell on installation here, becuase that's pretty simple and highly depenent upon your use case, othe rthan my isseus wiht getting everything pointed and aligned under the eave. The associated app seems to tick all of my boxes, and I LOVE that there's no monthly fee. I don't understand how competing products can justify the cost of a montthly fee just for a little bit of cloud storage. The auto switching from day to night and the night color modes worked well for me and I got decent pictures. I'm starting to see that it takes a pretty high resoltuion to zoom in and identify things, so a 4k camera might be nice, but I think 1080p is the absolute minimum. I also like that there are motion alerts, even if I had to spend a bunch of time playing with the settings and the motion alert boxes. I was either getting notified of everything (branches blowing in the wind) or nothing (people walking through the frame didn't set it off) When the motion alerts are working correctly they work well. It's possible I"m just not used to setting this kind of alert up, or my field of view includes too many variables. Either way it seems like the AI behind this could be improved, but that's all software and honestly a minor inconvenience, only worth a reduction of one star. This is a well made product that combines two things that I never knew could be such a no brainer together. I have other cameras around my house so adding this one makes sense. I continue to find Anker / Eufy branded products that I love and I would recommend this to others.
