I read an online review that said it was difficult (or finnicky) to install. I found it very straight forward, and had no issues at all following the instructions. Probably took me 10 minutes. Maybe 15.

Great, reliable smart lock

I have a cheap, Amazon basics smart lock that worked for a couple months then it bit the dust, but these have been going strong without any signs of ware and tear. One thing that was a very minor learning curve was that you can't just put your finger on the sensor and it'll unlock. You must push a number key and then the fingerprint sensor. Once you get in the habit of that, you'll be good to go. Highly recommend!

Adding it to my existing system was easy with the app. Also adding users and fingerprints was easy. The lock itself is very beautiful. I have not had any issues with it recognizing fingerprints. Make sure you do two fingers on each hand so when you are carrying items or you have a cut with a band-aid it is easy. My only complaint is you can only unlock remotely with the app when your are in Bluetooth range. I hope they update software with home kit to allow remote unlock.

It is hard to tell if the door is locked or unlocked. Had issues with the auto lock feature, but it seems to work now after trying the lock calibration a few times.

During the day the keypad is virtually invisible and at night it’s a bit better. My elderly mother cannot use the keypad and for some reason the fingerprint doesn’t work for her. It works fine for me. So, the only way she can open the door is with the phone app.
