This lock works great and it is quick on the response. The finger print allows you to use different fingers and it works good with Alexa. I did have a little issue where the Alexa app said there was an issue but it wasn’t. It was easy to install. I did have to crave a little out in my door to lock the door.

Omg when I brought this I thought it was overpriced but it’s worth every penny the fact that I can switch up from the key to the code to the fingerprint depending how I feel that day lol and I it’s so easy to put on I didn’t have to drill any holes because I took out a similar lock(minus the fingerprint) you can add up to 100 people and you can give access codes that expires honestly I would buy this again if I had above door but I live in an apt building and it comes with 2 keys by the way

Best smart lock yet. The fingerprint option is so convenient and come handy if you have kids. No worries about losing key and replacing lock. Can set different code for each person. Highly recommend.

Outstanding product. Has everything that Yale doesn’t. Easy to install, easy to configure. So easy that even a caveman (line me) can do it.

I wish i wouldn't bought this lock a long time ago!!! Everyone has their own fingerprint and code. Wifi is great so i can let family and contractors in via remote access.

The lock was east to install. The app is easy to use and setup. The fingerprint reader reads your print the first time. The features it offers are excellent.

From the packaging to the installation and functionality, the Eufy Wi-Fi Smart Lock is an excellent, well thought out product. In the box you will find all of the components laid out with step numbers on them so that you can easily follow the correct sequence during installation. All necessary parts are included. The components are big and heavy, appearing to be very high quality. It is drill proof and water resistant. There is a 10,000 mah battery which must be fully charged before you begin installation. It took about 5 hours to fully charge the battery. Eufy states that the battery should last about 1 year before needing another charge. The battery compartment is easy to open. You should download the Eufy Security App which guides you through installation and setup. The app is full featured and the settings menu is easy to follow. Wi-Fi set up is quick, but remember that this works on 2.4 ghz, so set your phone to that before connecting to Wi-Fi. This door lock allows for 5 different methods of locking/unlocking. 1) Fingerprint 2) Number Code 3) Key (5 keys in the box) 4) Voice (Google Assistant/Amazon Alexa) 5) In the Eufy Security APP All of these methods worked flawlessly. The fingerprint reader and the keypad are extremely responsive and accurate. In fact, I would say this is the best fingerprint reader I have had on any of my electronic devices. You can also have the door lock automatically after you close the door. You can set the timer anywhere from 1 second to 1 minute after closing your door. You can store up to 100 fingerprints and all storage is local, making your personal information more secure, and there are no subscriptions. The app will keep a record of who entered your house and what time they were there. So overall the quality and functionality deserve 5 stars but there is one negative that really bothers me. As I mentioned this door lock is large. The part on the outside of the door is about 6” x 3” and the part on the interior is about 8” x 3”. This in understandable considering all of the features that are packed onto this device. And the size itself does not bother me at all. However, the door lock is BLACK. Why would they make this only in black? You would like this to match either the color of the door or your existing hardware. And in this case it matches neither. My door is white and my existing hardware is a brushed nickel. Either of those colors would have been fine. The brushed nickel would have been a nice neutral color that would match most doors and hardware. I live in South Florida where white is the most common door color. I don’t know anyone who has a black door or any color hardware that would match with black. As much as I love this product, every time I approach my door I cringe at this big black rectangle. I am gong to have to try to vinyl wrap it with a lighter color. I think the black is fine for commercial use, but not for residential. And, I believe that Eufy would sell many more with a different color option. In summary, this is one of the best electronic devices I have ever used. Easy to install, setup and operate, and very high quality. If the black color doesn’t bother you, I would highly recommend it.

I really like the fingerprint idea but the door will lock when it’s sitting open. It also keeps saying the door failed to lock when you lock the door manually. I’ve had thus lick for 2 years because the fingerprint I’d works great but I think I’m finally going to switch to one that can sense when the door is open and closed. I would only recommend if you don’t mind the lock not sensing when the door is open.

Eufy Security Smart Touch 2nd generation lock looks similar to the last year model with the addition of the inbuilt Wi-Fi that makes this lock to access remotely over web or smartphone. No additional hub/connect is required and this generation lock can be accessed 6 different ways (fingerprint, Wi-Fi/app, included physical key, Bluetooth, passcode, voice recognition). What’s in the box: Box is huge compared to competitor lock brands and is well packaged with clear instructions. Each part is labelled in steps on the box, that makes installation a breeze. In the box, it includes deadbolt, strike plate, screws, lock (interior and exterior assembly), rechargeable 10,000mAh lithium battery, microUSB cable, user manual. Before Installation of the lock, please download the eufy security app from iOS or android and create your account if this is the first time installing any eufy products. Also, charge the included battery to 100% before the installation process. Installation/Setup: Installation is very straightforward if you have experience installing smart locks before. I have nest yale lock on my front door that was replaced with this for the fingerprint option, physical key and scramble passcode options. Installation was similar to Nest lock but would suggest reviewing the included manual or watch the installation video on YouTube for easy and quick installation. Installation for me took around 20 minutes. Included rechargeable battery only ships with around 40-50% battery and would suggest charging to 100% before starting the installation as mentioned before. Lock is pretty solid and is made of drill proof steel. It has bigger fingerprint sensor, glass touchless keys. Digital keypad appears invisible when not in use similar to Nest Yale and illuminates when touched for entering passcode. There is a micro usb port on the exterior assembly below the keyhole for charging the battery if you were running out of battery and no keys with you. This is a good feature provided you carry your battery pack with charging cable to get access. Also, I am yet to discover if the app has a notification for low battery or battery icon when the battery is running low. Battery is advertised and rated for one year and is too early to comment on. App: App on iOS is very intuitive. Download the app and create a new account by following the instructions and once complete, suggest to enable 2 factor authentication and face id for more security. Once done, click the add product and select the smart lock touch & Wi-Fi option and scan the QR code to start the calibration process. Lock prompts by voice on the setup with Wi-Fi and calibration process similar to Nest/ring devices. Once completed you can setup your fingerprint on the lock, set a passcode, create temporary code, pairing it with Alexa or google skills etc. Entire setup process is painless. You have the option of viewing the history of lock/unlock operations including the user details (if multiple users with different codes are granted) in the app including timestamp. Also, there are few features that differentiate this lock from competitors are automatic lockout, password scrambling. Automatic lockout is a feature where if too many wrong passcodes or fingerprints are attempted. Password scrambling can be enabled in the app that adds extra digits to your passcode/PIN for added security and to avoid easy guessing. Since the outer glass is very shiny, there may be fingerprint marks on the keypad that can allow someone to guess and this password scramble feature is great. This lock does not need any additional sensors like door sense (august locks) as it has inbuilt gyroscope and geomagnetic chip to determine if the door is open or closed. This lock does have the option of auto locking in different time intervals that can be set in the app and also automatically locks when a strong magnetic field is detected. Lock is very secure and all the fingerprints, passcode and data are stored locally with AES 256 security chip encryption. Its weather proof and is rated IP65 to withstand extreme temperatures or rain. Unlocking using fingerprint works great similar to phone unlocking and is ultra-fast(around 0.3 seconds) than unlocking using phone or keypad or keys which is a great feature and love it. Pros: Fingerprint scanner, inbuilt Wi-Fi (no connect required), rechargeable 10,000mAH battery, multiple ways to unlock, quality built, Alexa/google voice compatible. Cons: Price, unique physical key (tough to rekey) Overall, this lock is very well built with drill proof steel, BHMA certified with advanced security options, smart Wi-Fi, Keyless entry, fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth, voice recognition (Alexa/google) for lock/unlock and is definitely up for the smart lock competition.

Good smart lock, packed with features. Like the rechargeable battery. Wish it had more smart home integration to allow for automations.
