I use Eufy security system throughout my home, even have a Eufy robovac. This Smart Lock is amazing. I've had it a little less than a year and the Smart features have already been used countless times. Finger Print & Code - The finger print technology is advanced & reads correctly 99% of the time. The Eufy app allows the admin the grant access using a custom code to anyone either full time, or during a specific window. This has feature comes in handy for house sitting, pet sitting, or even when a friend needs to come pick something up when you're not home. Battery - The battery lasts close to 6-8 months (depending on use). It's quick to pop out and charge for the next 6-8 months. The lock will still function as a regular lock when the battery is not powering it. Installation - It was a little difficult to install, but that's because my package was missing the bolt plate for my specific door (only reason this didn't get a 5-star review). General Thoughts - Highly recommend spending the money if you are considering your options. Go with quality and higher price than cheaper options.

Extremely easy to set up and use. I have a Kwikset smart lock at my rental unit and almost considered getting one for my house just for ease but I'm glad I chose the Eufy smart lock for my house. It's Bluetooth capability makes setting up users within the app. I can not speak for the installation process since this was installed by a contractor who installed a our new door, but from the instructions it seemed to be a straightforward process. We got this while on sale, but after using it I think the original price is fair for what you get. Fingerprints do smudge easily on the face so you have to wipe it down often to keep it looking nice.

However, I did experience occasional connectivity issues, which could be frustrating at times. The keypad is responsive, and the biometric sensor is fairly accurate, though it may take a couple of tries to register a fingerprint properly. Overall, the build quality inspires confidence in the lock's security and longevity. Battery Life: One area where the eufy Smart Lock could improve is in its battery life. While the battery is rechargeable and lasts for a decent amount of time, I found myself needing to recharge it more frequently than I anticipated. It would be beneficial if the battery life could be extended to reduce the need for frequent recharging. In conclusion, the eufy Security Smart Lock offers a blend of convenience, versatility, and security that makes it a valuable addition to any smart home. Great lock good product for the price especially. I do understand that most locks are very expensive compared to this one. I've had two of these installed in two of my homes and I would have to say I'm impressed with the quality and ease of use. Downside it does stick in cold weather and it has to have plenty of clearance as the motor is not that strong to unlock. If you need one that that won't stick under pressure I would go with one of the lines that hasn't another zero behind the price tag. This is definitely the best one you'll find under $300

The installation process is straight forward. For those who are new, there's a video wizard to watch to help guide you thru the process. Pro tip: before tightening the 2 long screws, make sure you adjust the orientation so it's perfectly square with the door. Otherwise, it'll be crooked and you'll have to redo this step again. The user interface is simple and not busy. The battery life is great. I did buy another battery in order to quickly swap out. There's also a concealed keyhole in the event the battery dies so you don't get locked out.

like: 1 - does everything claimed 2 - easy install (mounting, connectivity and account setup) 3 - feels substantial and looks good 4 - long lasting rechargable battery - but remember to charge before initially installing wish list: 1 - option to open when sensing phone close by 2 - autolock at certain times of day as well as after x amount of time after open/closed 3 - recognize fingerprint on first press vs second 4 - group locks so there is an option to setup for each individual not required for each individual lock 5 - more notification options (like alert at x time if door not locked 6 - might as well have an option with killer camera and doorbell included

This is a great lock. Was in doubt at first, as I was originally considering a different brand. However after having it for several months, I am very satisfied with this. The fingerprint reader is fast, I've only had issues with it when my hands are wet. I will admit that punching in the code sometimes can be troublesome but it could be that we go to fast. However the code is hardly ever used, so not really a big deal. I've been able to give access to my son who forgot his keys, and there is still the capability of using a manual key for those not technologically inclined. Overall very satisfied with this lock.

This is an awesome product. It was easy to setup, relatively easy to install as long as you can DIY and follow decent instructions, but just in general this was very very cool to program every family members' fingerprints and it was just so easy to open with the finger print reader. The push buttons were a little touchy but my family primarily used the finger print reader. I moved from the house I installed this in and have definitely wanted to buy a new one for my new house.

Love the eufy door lock. It super well built with what seems to be good quality materials. Feels very high quality. It was super easy to install and works seamlessly.

Installed this lock at my main entrance to my home, and honestly its super simple to install and use. Also save your money on the batteries as it comes with its own rechargeable proprietary battery. Device setup and configuration was a breeze, the fingerprint function works perfectly. If a package was being delivered you can unlock the lock remotely as long as you connected it to the wifi. Overall amazing purchase.

I got this lock for a rental property. Super easy and user friendly. Has both a physical key and/or code system.

You can't ask for better features in a smart lock: fingerprint entry, keypad entry, and old-fashioned key, auto-lock, verbal confirmation of door status and names of those who entered. Eufy has an all-around pretty good app to go along with the smart lock. The installation was a breeze, but I was extremely lucky since I didn't have to chisel any wood to make the bolt fit the strike plate. It took about 20 minutes, and that included software update and setup time. Someone had mentioned that this lock wouldn't set up with 5g wifi, but I didn't encounter that problem with my Samsung Note 20.

It was really easy to install. Only difficulty I faced was due to user error. The app is easy to use and setting up the passcodes/fingerprints was straightforward. It fit well with my existing door hardware. I’m able to use the app on my Apple Watch to lock and unlock the door. This comes in handy when your hands are full.

This door lock is awesome. I love the fact that you can recharge the battery. My favorite feature is the assurance that even if you forget to recharge your battery there is a key that you can use to unlock k your door. The ease of use of all the features of the door lock are second to none like the digital key pad that you can use to unlock and the Alexa can unlock your door lock and also you can unlock with WiFi on the app. Again I am very pleased with this door lock. This is our second eufy product since we were impressed with the doorbell camera. The lock is hyper convenient for going in and out of the house easily. We bought this to avoid opening our full two car garage door to get in and out since it had a keypad and we don’t like carrying house keys just to walk dog or bike ride. We even let friend put shipped packages in the house while on vacation. Battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. I still feel safe having this than a typical key bolt.

Best lock with so many options. We now we dont worry about keys at home. We use our fingers to get in or out. If doesn't work because finger is wet, we use our code. If batteries discharge then we use our keys. But it so great. I keep track of who leave or get home. When im out of town and have a dogsitter coming, I create this special code that work for the time and days I program them. If they have any iaaue I was able to ooenn and close as I watch them from my eufy cameras. So no problem with it so far

Love the this brand. Eufy is making great stuff. The install was simple (previous lock was a Schlage Smartock) and this was so worth it. I would higjly recommend it to anyone that wants a sleek looking door lock with all the bells and whistles outside of have tap to unlock functions.

Bought this to update my home's security measures. Install was easy and pairing to my homebase was a breeze. I love eufy products as I not have to pay subscription to use them, It is very responsive to touch and the design is just very nice and modern. Overall quality including the packaging is top notch. I highly recommend this!

This is the easiest lock to operate. Nice and clear step by step instructions for installation and basic operation. Made to look good and also heavy duty construction. This is a must have purchase. It makes life easier. Gives you many different options to enter. PIN#, Finger print, keys are also included as another option to lock or unlock. Best feature I like is knowing the lock will automatically lock itself once the door is closed. Works with Alexa and Google.
