    This is a terrible product. Despite of reducing sensitivity, creating very specific activity zone, this camera keeps triggering false motion detection all day long. From flying leaves in the yard to cars driving by the house, it keeps getting activated. Reached out their support. They sent a copy/paste canned reply without even reading my issue, asking me to do things that I had already done. No phone support. Only email support that takes 2-3 to respond. Total waste of money!

    Please review off-line issues with this camera before purchasing. Common issue with this model type, looks like since three years ago. Eufy still hasn’t fixed the problem. Just purchased mine a month ago and my camera will not remain connected to my Internet.

    The doorbell works for a while, then its WiFi antenna dies. Device no longer can connect to the band it saw before. The customer service center for eufy is no help. It offers a replacement but I cannot cross reference my purchase from Best Buy of 6 months ago.

    I have an android device and the app has stopped sending notifications. Been working with "customer service" but they keep going around in circles on why its a problem on my end and not theirs. Took screenshots of every setting they wanted and still can't come up with an answer. Everyone who doesn't have an apple, stay away.

    Worked just for 5 month. Won’t recommend

    The door worked perfectly during five months I bought it back in December and now is May and doesn’t work anymore is off-line constantly, I connected and reconnected finally the doorbell gave up and doesn’t work even when is connected. Customer Service is really really messy. You have to call and wait for them to answer, that I will be able to claim my warranty

    I've been in the market for a new Video Doorbell but there's just so many options out there. The options start to really fall of if you're not interested in paying a monthly/yearly fee. Cue the eufy. I've had it setup for a week now and it's been great. Picks up much better than my old video doorbell. Though I did have some false positives over the following days. Setup was a breeze and getting it synced to my network through the app went without a hitch. The app is also quite easy to use. It was also way easier and intuitive to add a family member so they could also view it as well. My biggest like on this has to be that it utilizes 2 separate camera's. There's the front facing, which has a pretty darn good field of view and fantastic quality. Then there's the bottom camera that you can monitor if you have a package dropped off on the porch. I had mentioned some false positives. It seems those are fixed now since I changed up the zones (which I didn't realize you could do) so now I only ever get alerts when there's an actual package or someone at the door. A quirk would be the connection to hook up the doorbell for wired installation. It would have been nice to just use my wires I already have, but you need to use the connectors they include with the Doorbell. It's clunky really, and making it so the pre-existing wires could be either looped around the leads on the back or where they would slot in like speakers on a stereo receiver would be a much easier install. It would also have made mounting easier as I had to hide not only the actual wiring, but also their connectors so it was a bit of a fight to get it in place. I do like that it came with a wedge. The last one I had did not, and I had to buy some . I did buy an 3rd party adjustable one as the way our doorbell is installed, it faces the opposite side of our entry way so it doesn't pick anyone up until they're quite literally next to it, though I've not had that issue with the eufy. I wish the onboard storage was larger, especially given that flash drives as small as thumbnail have as much a 512-1024GB of space now. If you opt for the monthly fee, it's stored for 30 days on the cloud, otherwise, you have 8GB of local storage which really isn't a lot when you're recording at 2560x1440 in either color or in Night Vision, especially if you live in a busy locale. Even if not increasing the size internally, allowing the ability to either connect a flash drive or expand the storage with an SD Card would go a long way with having some more peace of mind. Overall, it's a really fantastic doorbell and outside of the clumsy installation and limited local storage, it's a great unit and competitior in a very crowded market.

    I have been a long time Ring doorbell user. I finally decided to make a change to eufy since i already have the smart keypad lock and the flood light camera. I wanted to keep more devices in the same ecosystem. Installation of the camera is very easy, both mounting it and setting up via the app. I like that they include some wire with a connector to make the connection sit properly. Now my doorbell is charging all the time time. I played with the settings and am using the best settings that you can use. The video is maximum quality and i have the motion clips set to record along with a thumb nail in the notification panel. I also have it set to record if a package is delivered. There are two cameras, one front facing and one facing down. The down facing camera is meant to see packages that are left in front of your door. Unfortunately my mailbox blocks that view, but that's my problem. There is also a nice dual light that turns on as well. The last thing I will mention is the built in storage that eliminates the need for any type of paid subscription for event storage. The built in memory will hold a large amount of video clips depending on image quality you select. Overall i am really enjoying my new doorbell camera. It had given me no issues and works perfectly. I do like the notification sounds that ae included in the app.

    The Eufy security doorbell E340 2K dual lens hybrid zoom is a well made video doorbell with many excellent features. The packaging was nice and compact so not to be wasteful and easier to store. I found the installation simple and well prepared except it was a little confusing with the difference between battery and wired. I installed as wired and it worked well with my existing doorbell chime. It’s nice that the battery automatically charges from the existing wiring in case the power goes out so the doorbell can still work. The setup is fairly easy and the dual cameras work well except the split images are a little difficult to get use to. The video is sharp and clear and the color night vision is great. I couldn’t decide whether to install the wedge behind the camera and my camera is not showing my whole porch. I plan to remove the camera and add the wedge to see if that fixes my problem. The lights above and below the doorbell helps light up the video in the dark. My only concern is that the all motion setting picks up cars driving by in the street. When I turn on the human only setting it does not show pets on my porch which some of the cameras I have used do show. I tried the activity zone with all motion setting and there is no way to keep cars on the street from being picked up no matter how small I make the activity zone or how low I set the sensitivity. Overall this is a great video doorbell camera.

    Great doorbell camera. The only one that doesn’t require a data plan. The dual camera system is terrific providing also an enlarged view of the person. Night lights, sends instant notifications to phone, and Alexa that announces the movement/person/package. Easy to use and install. I plan to add more. Great product that gives you peace of mind!!

    Basic Video Doorbell System with Dual 2K Cameras

    The Eufy Video Doorbell E340 is a compact unit that features Dual 2K FHD Cameras with Color Night Vision and dual lighting system. Guard Deliveries with Smart AI provides instant package delivery notification and package detection. There is also 8GB of onboard storage that minimizes the need for a subscription service. With 2k footage being captured, it will be easy to fill up the onboard 8GB storage so keep that in mind when using. There are options within the Eufy App to add a Cloud Storage Backup plan to increase the amount of video footage the Doorbell can store. Setting up the Eufy Video Doorbell E340 is a straightforward process with a couple of caveats. Once unboxed, you will see the doorbell unit, the included wiring for a wired installation if your home is already set up for that. There are 2 mounting brackets to choose from depending on your installation preference. One bracket is for a wired installation and the other is for using the doorbell battery operated. Once the desired bracket is fastened to your front door area, you are ready to power on and connect the doorbell to your wireless network. Here is caveat number one. The Eufy E340 Video Doorbell only supports 2.4GHz wireless networks. We have a wireless 6E Mesh network and all 3 networks, 2.4, 5 and 6e share one SSID. This scenario does not work. We had to rename the 2.4GHz network SSID to allow the doorbell to connect to the wireless. Not a big deal, however it took a few minutes to realize this was the case. Step 1. Download the Eufy Security App to your mobile device. Step 2. Sign up for an account through the app and tap the QR code option within the app Step 3. Scan the QR code on the outside of the package Step 4. Tap and hold the sync button on back of the doorbell until you hear a beep Step 5. Acknowledge you heard a beep within the app and the app will the present a 2nd QR Code Step 6. Hold Doorbell 8 inches from the QR code on your mobile device and it will scan the code to connect to wireless network Step 7. Once doorbell is connected to the wireless network you are ready place it in its door holder Step 8. Within the app there are a bunch of configuration options to tailor the system to your needs, highly recommend going through all the steps to familiarize yourself with the operation. Overall, the Eufy Video Security E340 is a decent option for providing security for the front door area of your home and notifying when packages have arrived. Setup, however, is clunky at best and not as intuitive as expected. I would recommend exploring other options in this product area to find the best fit for you and your family's needs.

    Wow this eufy Security doorbell is the most sturdy and well built doorbell that I’ve own to date. I like the option that it comes with being that I can run it on a rechargeable battery or I can hard wire it. So when our home loses power my doorbell with always worn which is a form of comfort to me. That’s true security. The installation is very easy. You just have to make sure that you turn off the power to the wires that power your previous doorbell. Now if you don’t have electricity then you will need to use the battery or hire a professional. I really like the doorbell chime and even more the spotlight that goes off when you push the button. For intruders it might scare them. For the homeowner it helps you to see what is around you if it’s really dark. Overall the app is ok no complaints but it doesn’t really sync with much else that I’m already running at my home. This is the only eufy product that I have. That may change. It also comes with a couple of brackets so that you can get different angles.

    After using this doorbell for several weeks, I've found that it generally works very well, but can be a little inconsistent with recognizing packages or notifying you of a person walking to your door. HUMAN DETECTED - I live in an apartment complex in a third-floor walk-up. It's the top floor, so I don't typically have many people walking by. However, the viewing angles are wide enough that I get notified if any other person on my floor leaves their apartment. I had no idea my neighbors walked their dogs so much! I ended up needing to turn off the notifications of humans being seen just so I'm not randomly pinged 10x daily. PACKAGE DETECTED - This will detect if a package has been left, and it is generally good at it, but I've noticed that if a package is a very plain white envelope, it will not pick up the delivery being left. Otherwise, functionality is great. BATTERY - I do not have a hard-wire for power, so I was concerned about how long a battery would last in a video device, that is definitely not something to be concerned about. After about three weeks, there does not appear to be a significant drain on the battery (it still reads as full power). DOORBELL - There is a few seconds of delay between the button being pushed and receiving the notification. Otherwise, works perfectly.
