Bought this graphics card thinking it was going to last but fried itself within the year, but nvidia replaced it free of charge.

I've been an elite bestbuy member for near 10 years, and have built several computers, and used several laptops. My most recent build used a Golden GTX 970, paired with 16GB Ripjaws RAM and an i7-4790k, on a 1440p monitor. Some games, such as Rise of the Tomb Raider, or Forza Horizon 3 would have visual slowdown or stutters on high settings. That's old news now. This EVGA 1070 fluently runs ANY game on Ultra settings. I have yet to see it go over 60c temperature, and it's very quiet. ZERO cons as of yet!

Amazing product. Uses less power than previous generations and absolutely destroys anything before it. On a 1900x1200 screen, and Overwatch visual settings as high as they could go (everything cranked to Ultra or Epic), I was getting 100 FPS and the card wasn't even breaking a sweat. I'll be set with this card for quite a while. Excellent buy and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

I owned a GTX 960 but decided to make the long term investment in Nvidia's new technology and I'm very glad I did! I'm able to play every 1080 game at max settings and 4K games are solid at 50 fps. Movies look fantastic on my 4K monitor and the card is extremely quiet with very low temps. For gamers looking for a high end card but not wanting to spend the extra money for the 1080, this card is a great choice.

Purchased 10/18/2016, currently 2/16/2023, mfer still going strong!!! It's unfortunate that EVGA will no longer be making GPU's. They were all I ever bought, and going on 7 years with this 1070SC is the reason why.

This card when I first was getting it I was on a budget and $450 is a very high price knowing that my budget was only around $300. But even though the card is overpriced. It is very powerful and runs very well. It made GTA 5 look 100 times better. I upgraded from a GTX 750 to this 1070 I some games there was little to no difference such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Garry's Mod. But the game it made a HUGE difference in was Grand Theft Auto 5. All the textures looked more detailed and just, in general, a whole new look. The card was nicely packaged and all in all looks like a very nice card. Had no problems installing it and updating the drivers. 11/10

This GPU was definitely woth every penny. it does plenty of lifting for its size and power output.

I bought this card after upgrading from a 960 SSC and I love it, EVGA has always been my goto for graphics cards, unfortunately the 1070ti did appear on here for only a little bit more after I did make my purchase but if you compare your clock speeds it’s not to far off, especially if you like to over clock this is the better Choice

I was originally going to get the EVGA 1080 SC but decided to acquire this instead. The card runs great, the precision x software is easy to use, and it looks pretty sharp. I am able to run GTAV in 4K and get about 120fps on average. System specs, I7-6700K, EVGA 1070 SC, 16GB DDR4 3000mhz, 1TB 850 EVO. Over all I recommend the card, it's a great mid-tier option that will run most games in high resolutions while maintaining high frames.

I bought this graphics card as a replacement for my EVGA GTX 970, and I would say this purchase is well worth the upgrade! Plays all my games flawlessly at 1080p at Ultra settings (seems a little overkill but it's perfect), great performance with VR, and potential for games at 4K. If you're looking for the sweet spot between price and performance on a graphics card, this is the one to buy!

Absolutely beast of a gpu. I can get 144 fps on overwatch easily. All while staying under 60c.

LOL at all the people saying the 1070 is overkill for 1080p. For most current games that's true. But now there's Deus Ex MD where 1070s can struggle to maintain 60 fps @ 1080p, no msaa at Ultra settings. I wouldn't want anything less than this card to enjoy it at its full (or close to it) potential. My games are now beautiful and smooth. Great card!

I had a 980 ti this beats it not by much But it runs all my games 1440p 60fps

This card is perfect for the price I went from having a lot of lag to no lag on ultra settings. i love the lighting on it, all white lights and the sc is in yellow

GTX 1070 SC - this product was DOA. I installed in 2 different computers on multiple pcie slots. I could not get a bios screen and the fans failed to turn on. They did twitch after system was turned on but never completed a full rotation. I understand the fans are controlled on the card based on load however all fans should spin on startup. Best Buy customer service was very helpful with exchange, I should have new card in 2 days. So far disappointing. With that aside product looks awesome, i wish it had the same led features as the GTX 1070 FTW, or best buy carry the FTW card also. Lights are white and easily maskable with other case lights.

Loved the card until it died, noticed some unusual fan speeds(idle to full blast for a second then back to idle) a couple of days before death. Froze in the middle of game then and that was the end of it. Force restarted and no more video displayed. I should have known considering my XFX card of 4 years refuses to die but every nvidia EVGA card I have ever owned last 1 year at most.
