Fun game at first. As people leveled up the monsters, they were impossible to catch. Eventually it became a game of hide and seek that would last for 20 minutes at a time. You would find the monster and he was so much faster then you, you would end up chasing it until your jet pack ran out of fuel. I played with a group of 3 friends and we were so happy if we played a match where we actually got to fight the monster. We waited, hoping that they would make some changes to even things out. It never happened, so we traded it in.

Great game, but unfortunately they wall everything behind a million DLCs. Very disappointed. Fun to play with friends. NO LOCAL CO OP - DONT EXPECT IT. I was very disappointed with that.

By now, you already know the story behind Evolve. It was a concept that captured everyone's imagination. "Finally" everyone thought, because now we could play as an awesome boss monster. Unfortunately the stripped features, modes, cosmetics and characters pretty much left this game dead on arrival. I bought this game way back at launch, and truth be told I enjoyed it. I didn't even need a group of friends - most swore off the game based on reviews - and ended up unlocking every character all as a lone wolf/pubbie. After finally snatching the carrot on the stick that were the extra characters, the game just became bland. Progression is frustrating and grindy. The modes we had at the time featured hunt, a 4 on 1 affair that was the signature of the game, and a battle type mode that featured different objectives (defend or destroy an object, rescue NPCs, etc) were nothing worth staying around for. What was the final insult for me, however, was the introduction of a second season pass. I know the first one was labeled as the "Hunting" pass or whatever, but it still featured new characters and a new monster. The new DLC adds the same things and isn't included in the original pass. I defended the original decisions on message boards and to friends, saying that all of the DLC was cosmetic and it wasn't really $150 worth of DLC and the characters weren't mandatory, and so forth. But the second season pass just torpedoed that good will. While I enjoyed playing the game, I'll take a definite wait-and-see approach for all Turtle Rock Studios titles going forward.

Bought it to play with some friends and we had a great time playing it. The leveling system is surprisingly deep and encourages you to use every weapon/ability to unlock new characters.

It is probably just me but I could not get to much into this game. I will eventually give it another shot but as of right now to many other a really enjoyed from the start to play.

I bought this game for my oldest son Ethan... This is his favorite game right now... Its fun to play and has excellent sound and graphics

The concept, great. Execution, not so much. I really wanted to like it, but got bored real quick and traded it in for dying light

Bought this for my son who loves games that you run around shooting stuff. If that is what you're looking for, then buy it.

Evolve is a very enjoyable game that has a bit of a learning curve. A few things still need to be tweaked to balance out the game play, but other than that it is a very fun game.

I really enjoy the game - but the level of DLC for this game is ridiculous. Am I the only one who remembers when extra skins and such were included on the games as unlockables?

I love playing as the monster! It is a little hard to get the hang off but the tutorial and the 'single player' mode is pretty good at helping you get acclimated with the game.

i got all that i was expecting in this action shooter game . i recommend this game be added to the library of your system choice .

I have played Evolve every day since my purchase. It is an awesome game and I don't see myself getting tired of it ANY TIME soon.

This game rock's! Play as either a hunter or the monster. 4 players vs monster or monster against 4 hunter's. Ton's o' fun!

Reminds me of Turok a lot. Great balanced game on being an hunter and monster.

i played few times. but i had to say this game not my type but the design is good 4 vs 1 all required team work

The game gets boring quick. The story mode isn't great and it's only really fun if you're in a premade team.

A new twist to an old premise. Appreciate the options to switch up. Love the 4-2-1 action. Keeps the mind sharp!
