This game is a 4v1 FPS that pits a team of hunters comprised of various classes (trappers, medics, etc) against a deadly monster, which given enough time without being caught, will evolve into two more variations of itself, each more powerful than the last. Gameplay is heavily dependent on team communication, cooperation and proper use of each class. It's very fast, challenging and erratic. The only downside to playing this is the reliance on worthy teammates. If even one teammate doesn't follow a plan, the difficulty to catch the monster goes up significantly.

I wish that I hadn't waited so long to get this. It just happened to come out when a bunch of similar games did and I made the mistake of not checking it out. Enjoyable story, gameplay, and visuals.

I couldn't stop playing this game . I even had dreams about the game. I would wake up and play even better the next day,man I was ready I was have some much fun playing. My wife hid the game for 2 days because I wasn't giving her anytime. So what back at it.

Fun game to play with friends hunting the monster.

I haven't played this game... i'm currently playing metal gear solid 5, so i have no time to try this game right now,i've heard great critics about this game, but right now this game is waiting in my library, just right next to wolfestein the new order

There is lots of fun to be had with this game. It really helps to have a mic on and friends to play with. Team work is when this game really shines. Its a slower burn though, so don't give up right away and you'll have a good time.

Great multilayer action in this game. When you actually get to play off against your friends in a battle for survival things can get pretty heated. Your friend who was once an ally becoming an enemy next round is a fun part of this game.

Just played the game yesterday and I don't know why IGN said it was the best shooter. Apparently there is a story mode in Evacuation which I didn't know about. Still yet to spend hours, but so far . . . not the best shooter.

My review may be slanted. I am not a huge fps fan, but I did enjoy a lot about this title initially. I just lost interest, since the variety was lacking. all environments/levels etc...just better options out there.

This is a fantastic game! The one set back is that it is not like others. You Need to work together as a team if you want to survive as the hunters. So, get a group of your friends together and have FUN!

Very nice gameplay especially multiplayer co-op. A bit of a learning curve when it comes to learning character features but overall a very cool game.

Evolve is one of those shooter games where once you start you cannot stop until the level is completed and even then it is a challenge to walk away from the game. Highly addicting and engaging.
