I thought it was just for face time on Facebook but it plays music, tells stories, verbally calls folks, and more.

This is a great way to keep in touch with family. You can set the portal anywhere on the counter and be moving & cooking in the kitchen and you are still in view. It zooms in when you back away from the unit so you don't look small in the picture. The picture and sound quality are good. I like having the privacy tab that can go over the camera when you're not using it. Most times I just unplug the unit during the day because I don't care for the Alexa feature.

I like having facebook portal for connecting with my family. It's also great that they added alexis use too.

It exceeded my expectations. Camera looks great and its super easy to set up and use. Just wish it had more apps.

Bought the Portal for Wife and three kids. Buying two more for sister an sister in-law. Keeps whole family connected.

We purchased two Facebook Portals so we could talk to our great grandson who moved to another state. We thought it would be so much better than just a phone call. One went home with the parents of the great grandson. The other we kept at our home. When we first used it we were in love with it. Our great grandson was so happy he could see us and talk to us and he showed us around the room as the camera takes in the whole room. I could not be more pleased with a purchase.

Gave this as a gift for family that don't live close by, they LOVE it! Now the little cousins can "play" together!

Great gift I gave my mom for mothers day. She has been able to connect with my siblings all over the country.

Great way to contact the grandparents and let them see the little ones. Nice to have an additional Alexa hub too.

Great for video calls, follows your movements. You can even watch Amazon prime videos on it.

Really a great option to FaceTime or Skype. The camera moves to where the action is and pans in and out

The Facebook Portal is an amazing and convenient way of keeping in touch visually with your loved ones.

Love being able to move around when connected to FaceTime and talking to people. Also, love the Alexa feature.

My daughter was able to call me and use various apps with supervision. I liked the idea of calling her and being able to see what she was doing. .
