Purchased two of these and the picture and audio quality is awesome !

My daughter lives 2.5 hours away and we talk on this portal all the time and works great!

My brother bought one of these for my Mom for Mother's Day and suggested we all get them. The good: The video quality and tracking are really, really good. voices are clear, volume is just right. Getting the video enhancement stuff to work though? Hit and miss, with more misses. I can't seem to make them work much more often than when they do. I don't like that it has 2 wake phrases, "Hey Portal" and "Alexa". I would be nice if I could just use "Hey Portal" and have it pass requests that the Portal can't understand to Alexa behind the scenes. In my case, the frustration is that my Echo in the kitchen will pick up requests to Alexa about half the time, and the Portal will pick up the requests the other half. I got the promotional Mother's Day price of Ninety Nine dollars, so I feel that was a good deal, but I think full price would have been a rip off. The "Hey Portal" portion of the device understands very few requests, and I think the biggest upgrade they could make would be for it to have better voice integration with YouTube. If I could have it launch the YouTube app and respond to voice requests to search for and play videos, I would easily add a star

Now the family can see each other on calls, plus being able to have 6 calls at once is a blast.

Very easy to setup and get connected. The games are also a good activity to pass the time.

The portal allows my distributed family to keep in touch easily, better than phone video chats.

So love this. Family communication is more frequent. Easy to use. Fun to Use. Highly recommend
