I was doubting to acquire this product but I gave it a try. The WhatsApp and messenger calling feature along with the camera following you is incredible. Also, alexa enabled and Spotify allowed me to remove an extra echo device.

My brother n law has had this for a while and always call his sister on Sunday's with it so i wanted to buy her one after seeing it. It was a wise decision she loves it and so do i. Great quality video calling and great sound it is worth the buy

Great deal on it so I couldn’t pass it. Lovely way to connect with family and friends from afar. When not using it for FaceTime, it’s a wonderful digital picture frame. We all love it.

I purchased this device to replace my iPad that I had in the kitchen and to be able to FaceTime my kids when they were out of town. Turns out that not only can I do that, but much more. The only downside is that I cannot see my Ring doorbell.

This actually made our Christmas a lot better. We usually all get together but since the pandemic we are staying safe. My mother was actually able to see my brother while he opened his gifts. It made her day.

I purchased two of these, one for my nephew and one for my mom and I. My mom is 84 years old and now my nephew can call us and we get to see him. We have also called some of her nieces. It allows us to see them more than once a year. We love it !!!

This gift has brought me closer together with my mother during the current pandemic. She is currently in a nursing home and this device has help us both communicate with her and her other family members.

Over all, good but but there should be an option to stop follow me mode or stay in wide angle mode. Right now there is no option and it is annoying to keep zooming in and out when in a group of people. Most appropriate with one on one chat/video conversation.

Bought it for my daughter and son in law’s anniversary so my grand daughters (3 yrs old, and 16 months old) could see, and talk to their baby cousin (8 months old). Both girls love to sit there, and watch the baby.

There are times when you are asking it to perform a command but it doesnt respond. this could be that it needs the current software update done. Haven't had allot time since Christmas to use it or make sure it has the most current software installed

I love the way the camera follows you. But sometimes it is very slow. Love the special effects lots of fun. Needs a little tweaking. Hate that I can’t call my contacts if they don’t have Facebook. Seems like it would be simple.

So far I've only used the assistant and haven't used the Video Calling feature. Works as advertised. I will update this review when I have used it more. Mainly wanted it to view my Facebook Photos.

I prefer the Echo Show over this device. The only thing this system has going for it is the sound and the display is decent and touchscreen.

My daughter and I had a blast with the special effects. We couldn’t stop laughing! The speaker isn’t as good as the Echo Show though so I use my Alexa devices to stream music from Amazon. I’m looking forward to using the group call feature.

We got the Portal plus and we love it. In fact 3 people who saw mind bought one for themselves. So many features. I am using this for everything. Music, grocery list, calling family members love it!!!

I got this as a gift for my parents so they can FaceTime their granddaughter easier. Great quality on the calls and they love the extra features like the time and weather display.

We used this for our loved one to keep communications going while COVID. Aides would have to help her connect, but it was priceless to be able to see her.

The Portal has been an awesome device for my husband & I to keep in touch with our sons & grandbaby. It's wonderful to be able to have a connection to family who lives far away.

We bought one for ourselves and one for our grandkids. How awesome it is to be able to see them so vividly when we talk. Plus, we can read them stories from our Portal.

It has been working well so far. I make calls using WhatsApp because I don’t have a Facebook account. Voice commands are decent.
