This game is fun even if you're an adult or young kid (about 7 or so). There's lots of reading within the game but if you're not keen on the story it's easily skipped without missing too much of the notes that gives you an idea of what to do. You'll easily get lost in the game that is so much fun for an RPG!

Saw it at Best Buy and figured I'd give it a try. I'm 32 and I find this game very enjoyable. Check It out.

Over all, the game is a lot of fun. The crafting systems are complex and rewarding. Leveling up feels meaningfull because it unlocks new abilities. Choosing one life over another makes the game very different. My one complaint, is that the story is horribly boring! Giant walls of text for little to no plot development. I read them for the first two chapters, now when I do a main quest I just slam the A button over and over again.

I love animal crossing so I bought this game because all the review website compare this to animal crossing. However, it does not have a game play longevity of animal crossing.

I haven't gotten that far into the game yet, but I'm enjoying it so far. Unique set of skills and work classes that you can work through. Makes this a very different experience.

My son, age 17, loves this game! He's played it on a regular basis since we gave it to him for Christmas.

Aside from the 12 Lives (like RPG classes) to choose from you can pick which quests to do and how quickly to move the story along which I love! However, traveling gets a little tedious and checking the different challenges/quests has no shortcut (no matter how many times I hit X). Once you have more than a couple Lives going checking everything and keeping quests straight becomes time consuming and I find it frustrating.

This is a very cool game. It let's you create and use characters of your choosing in an MMO type of environment but isn't always needing to be online or connect with others.

This game is phenomenal for being a handheld style game. Lots of detail and hilarious story line.

Fantasy Life met my expectations most of my expectations going in, with my biggest complaint being just how slowly it starts off and how much hand holding there is.

Different life different rules everything I expected this game would be definitely would recommend!

Great for the casual and serious gamer. My mom really enjoyed switching between the various lifes.

This is NOT an intense game by any means. Even though there is fighting, it is all rather laid back in practice, which is a good thing. It's a nice, quaint game to relax with and it becomes very addicting quickly as you rack up the experience and try new Lives. Highly recommended.

I got this as a gift for my girlfriend, and she's been hooked since she opened it. She was not at all interested in the story, but figured it'd be good for a younger audience. She's finding a lot of content in the game mechanics, though, so if the description of the gameplay sounds appealing, it holds up well. Just don't go in expecting a particularly engaging story to match.

She's had hours of fun with this game. It's appropriate for her age, and good clean fun.
