    There are things that make this a good remake, but you can easily tell they ran out of time. The episodic route while it sounded great on paper there is alot of filler.

    I know it’s not the same battle style, but even the story changed slightly. It’s a good hack and slash, but its not revolutionary in any way. Overall good game.

    I love this game. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that the random battles are no longer a thing. I really miss the old school style role playing games.

    It follows the same feel as the original, but have more in depth feel to it. They manage to push lot of detail and story this time, with this remake.

    As a fan of the original, this is an excellent buy however phasing is slow and ending seems incomplete. Awaiting for possible PS5 upgrade.
