Bought this game for my son's birthday he loves it.

The wait was worth it. The game does not disappoint.

Delay on PRE-ORDER bonus, so haven’t gotten them. Hh

The Final Fantasy VII that I remembered was a masterpiece. After playing for a week, I’m not impressed at all. This feels like money money grab by Square Enix. Also this is the first game in the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE project (NOT the full remake).

When I picked up the game it was plastic wrapped so everything was held together. Got home and the bottom of the case crumbles upon opening. Annoying but didn't do anything because the game was still intact. The really frustrating thing is THIS IS NOT THE FULL GAME. This is a portion of the full game and the marketing does not tell you that if you have never played the game before. Now if I want to finish the game you'll end up buying however many more parts they make to finish 1 game. How can they say its a remake without mentioning that.

The graphics are beautiful some times and ugly others, and the story has taken some weird turns. They seem to give up on lip-syncing after a few hours. I haven’t finished it yet, but I’ve heard that the end might be another star lost.

The game plays good but the screens are very dark and nearly invisible at the start of the game. Disappointing

great game for the value but I finished it and sold it in time, now playstation is giving it out for free, worth buying if you want the ps5 upgrade, not worth replaying again

This game only covers the first 1/10 map of original FF7. 30 hours max to complete even if you're a hardcore RPG fan who decided to grab every single treasure and win every mini game.

The game was really good but I couldn't give it five stars because it ended way earlier than I was expecting... it was very disappointing for it to end so soon.

The game was pretty good. Best Buy promising pre-order bonuses and then refusing to send them out was pretty bad. Still waiting on that digital content.

I almost got to the end of the game but I ended up selling it. The pacing is so horrific and boring. Jesus Christ. It even ruins Sephiroth's introduction.

Graphics are amazing bit other than that it veey disappointing. They change the story, ending is horrible and EVERY 10 SECS IT ANOTHER CUT SCENE. Actual gameplay 4 hours 20 plus hours of cutscenes. Play the game 5 mins, get 15 min cutscene play 4 more mins 20 minute cutscene.

The ending and the overall story strays so far from the PS1 original. If they had stuck to the original story itd be 10/10. Id say as is....6/10

This final fantasy story is one of the best, need to to see how the upgrade would be and it’s pretty good.

Very disappointing adaptation of beloved story. It covers the first ~10% of the original story while adding tons of complete nonsense filler. It creates several plot holes for the sake of adding bizarre modern anime tropes and reactions. Where story was once subdued and slowly uncovered, it's now aggressively flamboyant. "Fan" service for people who have never played the original.

I played the original version. One of my favorite games of all time. I feel like this version doesn’t measure up.

Game was ok. Not mind blowing like everybody said. But I got it with a discoutn and credit so cheers :P

The game itself is great, however it took Best Buy over 2 weeks to email me my DLC code, by then I had already finished the game, leaving the code practically useless.
