I was able to pick it up with no issues with curb side pick up, but my game case was broken. I mean absolutely useless case for a $60+ game not cool at all.

I'm not sure what I was expecting. It being a remake I knew they would likely make some changes, such as the combat system to be more like the more recent games. However, I really hoped that it would've been closer to the original. Even the classic mode just doesn't feel right. It's hard to give this a fair review, because I'm struggling to even try to continue playing the game. It just isn't fun to play.

Game has inconsistent pacing and annoying technical issues (e.g. hiding load times and streaming in textures).

Pre-ordered in March. Released on April the 9th. Tracking stated "en-Route" until today, April 17th. Today, the tracking status says "delayed". Cant cancel. Cant change. I'm forced to just sit and wait. Should have just gone to my local Walmart and purchased it there.

Preoreder bonus didn't come with the game they emaild saing it will be sent in a separate email. 5 days later no email so I called 30 minutes on hold to talk to someone that put me on hold again and hung up. Games good but best buy costumer service sucks.

Game was great. I pre-ordered and didn't get my promo code until 7 days after the game came out? I would have prepurchased somewhere else if I knew they wouldn't honor the release of digital content. On top of that they just said sorry. Really?

The game was great however the bonus offer that was supposed to come with the game for preordering from Best Buy didn’t come until I was already done with the game a week late!! Will not preorder from Best Buy again

This entire copy was a cluster^*&( I spent an entire weekend trying to get help with and or getting it to work to a lot of frustration for something I preordered. Would not pre-order another game here.

I loved the original Final Fantasy 7. This game is straight trash. I didn’t like just about any part of this crappy game.

Bought for my son. He played about 30 hours and said he beat it already. It was only part one of many more parts to come in the future.

Never played the original. Played this some. Not great. Just an expensive waste of plastic. Wish I could return games....

If you're a fan of the original save yourself the disappointment. It's basically a reskinned version of FFXV.

Wow over a week after release and no preorder bonus. Order somewhere else BestBuy is a joke.

Earned the platinum, continued to play it even after that. I have it digital and I plan to buy the disc on sale just to have that hard copy in my collection. I've played this almost exclusively for 2 months straight when I got it at release, played through it a couple times and the first play through is just a learning run, every new game after that is your real challenge. Music is fantastic, I wouldn't mind having the FULL soundtrack for it not just the 18 track selection for the deluxe edition. Very polished game, apart from a few poor textures that failed to load in sometimes there were no bugs with it, it didn't get its first patch til OCTOBER and I think that was mainly for PS5 compatibility.

Great game, excellent replay. It’s a classic retold with a few new turns.

Excellent remake of a classic and builds upon the original. Music is top notch. Played multiple times already.
