Been waiting for this game, ever since the first announced the remake. Took them, forever!!! but the game is defiantly worth playing. I love the visuals and the new combat.

Heavily expanded story in Midgar. Pretty solid game. Plenty of hours of game play to justify the $$. I enjoyed it. Hopefully the stats and items transfer to the next game. Haha

I loved this growing up! The remake did not disappoint. The level of detail into the world took me back to my teen years and it was a hell of a ride. Thank you SquareEnix!

If you've played the older FF7 game back in 1997, this game is right up your alley. So much nostalgia and new content in between... it's fantastic! Oh and the graphics are 10/10.

Awesome revisit of a great game. I've never played the original, but I was immediately sucked in by the Remake. Gorgeous visuals and intuitive, inventive combat.

I played the original and I must say....the remake blew me away. The story has really been awesome. I’m not finished with it just yet, but I am enjoying this remake.

I was skeptical about getting this as I grew up as a pretty hardcore Final Fantasy fan, and was afraid it would tarnish the original FFVII's reputation as many remakes tend to do. I was honestly blown away not only with the incredible visuals and gameplay, but by the sheer level of detail in recreating the original and expanding even further upon it. My only hope is that they faithfully continue recreating the FFVII saga and maybe even expand upon it further by finally giving Sephiroth his own game at some point.

Pure nostalgia if you are a FFVII fanboy. The environment is enriched and comes alive. I wished they didn’t make it so “linear”, and gave you more of an “open world” feel.

This brings me back to how I felt when playing the original ff7. Love the remake on the battle system as well as the excellent graphics. Can’t wait for the rest to come out.

This is a game that you should have in your collection. Such a great game!

Nice game. I thought it was a remastered version of the original game (which I never finished), but it's actually a remake. At first I didn't like the new combat system because I just wanted to relax and play the simple turn-based system like the original had, but I've come to appreciate this new combat system too. Played about 10 hours... Stopped for like 6 months? Then Sephiroth was released for Smash Bros, and so, I started playing again. Added like 20 hours? Now I'm on hiatus again. No wonder I take so long to beat games... Good game though.

About 5 hours into the much anticipated release of FF 7 Remake, graphics, gameplay, story, all great. I recommend this for a FF fan or anyone new to the franchise as well.

Great game, kind of linear but challenging if you looking for achievements. Great story, bummer you need to buy more than one game to get the whole remake experience

If you ever played the original, prepare to be amazed! Incredible graphics and sound. The classic story remade for a new generation. Do not skip this game.

Probably 75% through the game so far and it's been really fun. My one concern is that if you want an open-world game, this may disappoint you as it's really linear. I don't mind linear styles, so does not bother me. The game itself is 5 stars, but will add Best Buy was a 1 or 2 star at best during this process of pre-ordering and taking an entire week to distribute codes, now that pre-order is over, should not change anything if you are looking to buy now, but I would recommend not pre-ordering the next FFVII Remake installation from Best Buy if you want your pre-order bonus in a reasonable amount of time.

Best Buy did outstanding job of curbside order. Quick easy and safe. This game is WELL worth the money. Storyline graphics gameplay makes this the best FF game ever

Joy from start to finish. It's better than the original. The combat system is fantastic, graphics are great...and very exciting to replay through memorable moments.

This game has come quite far since its predecessor. Amazing graphics and fleshed out storylines. Quite disappointed that its only a small part of the entire game.

This is a Great game. A must have for final fantasy fans. Graphics look amazing on playstation 4 pro. The story is excellent and gameplay is amazing.
